Once every 5 years I go to the Notting Hill Carnival. And once every 5 years I have a flippin brilliant time. I didn't really take photos because there's just too much to see and take in and my photos - as you can see - don't do it justice. So many fabulous costumes, dancing, music, vibes, people. Super friendly, super fun, maybe 5 years is too long 😄

Any specific suggestions (aside from Countries - specific islands, retreats, places to stay, things to do, best times to go etc). I need rest and recuperation, so beach for sure, but wouldn't mind something like a retreat (ta**ra? Light yoga?) or a light fitness thing (cos I definitely got out of the workout habit since Ascot!)
Ideally good for a female solo traveller.

Does anyone have disposable mirrors they can give me? (like the type that comes in your pressed powder) I'm thinking of making a mosaic hat out of upcycled mirrors. (so they'd need to be thin)

Super fun to see on the BBC in her 'Wax Seal' hat she made at one of our hat making workshops. The hat is made from felt, and took some working out as we had to partly freeform and partly blocked. Jessica finished the hat with a diamonte heart. The wax seal is part of Jessica's signature jewellery collection, swipe to see, and for photos of the work in progress!
