Coaches, does your ideal client leave your website without taking action?
When I’m doing website reviews, there are two things I first ask myself when reviewing the home page:
1. When your ideal client lands on your site, do they know that this site is for them and that they need to carry on scrolling ❓
2. If they know it’s for them and they carry on scrolling, are they clear on what action you want them to take before leaving the site ❓
Ideally, you want your ideal client to take action. Leaving your site without taking action is a missed opportunity to convert them into paying clients. If they leave, they may go off to Google / LinkedIn, land on another coach’s site and then they’re lost for good.
Here are some actions you may want them to take:
✅ Book a free consultation
✅ WhatsApp you to start a chat about whether coaching is right for them
✅ Join your mailing list so that you can convert them to clients through your email marketing
✅ Sign up for something free so that they’re telling you that they’re your ideal client and they’re interested in what you have to say.
Whatever it is you want them to do to get them into your world, you need to make sure it’s clear that they know what action you want them to take.
