We're excited to be serving Orbit beers at beer festival this weekend alongside with on the decks and like music on throughout the day.

Join us in Beckenham Place Park on Saturday 27th from midday.

Join us at Canopy Market, Kings Cross on Friday 26th July from 6pm. We'll be taking over the taps, hosting a beer tasting including our birthday beers; Damson Cuvee de Cologne, Neu and Nico. And of course we'll have Tzatziki Sour and Ivo on as well. Meet the team, listen to some music and enjoy the beers!

We'll be hosting the launch of Leiper's Fork Bourbon in the UK on Thursday 4th July, so pop down to the taproom for some whiskey cocktails, bourbon tasters, and an Independence Day knees-up!

Leiper’s Fork Distillery is a small-batch whiskey distillery located in Williamson County Tennessee. Since filling their first barrel in the Spring of 2016, their aim has been to resurrect the lost art of small-batch whiskey production that was prevalent in the hills of middle Tennessee from its earliest founding.

Join us on Friday 5th July for a special Orbit Beers 'Nico Night' on the road!

To celebrate our 10th birthday in July, we'll be doing Cologne-style service from 6pm until 8pm at Kill The Cat Spitalfields with our flagship beer Nico (Köln Lager) and our birthday special Neu (altbier). We'll also have an exclusive first pour of our birthday special; Barrel-aged Damson Blend Cuvée de Cologne.

No tickets needed, first come first served!

If you've ever been to Cologne or Düsseldorf, you'll have noticed that their drinking culture is wildly different to ours, instead of going up to the bar to order, the smartly dressed and no-nonsense waiters (called Köbes) will bring over circular beer trays (called Kranz) laden with tall thin glasses (called stanges), containing 200ml of freshly poured Kölsch (Köln-style lager) in Cologne, or Altbier (copper-coloured ale) in Düsseldorf.

When the beers have been served, the Köbe will mark your beer mat to keep track of how many you've had. When your beer is nearly empty the Köbe will bring another stange, and another, until you place a beer mat on top of your glass, signalling you've had your fill.

As we're big fans of European beer culture at Orbit Beers, we wanted to bring the experience to the people of London, so you can enjoy our Nico lager the way it's supposed to be served.

Orbit Beers turns 10yrs old in July! To celebrate a decade of brewing, we're pulling out all the stops at the taproom for our birthday week:

Wednesday, 10th July: 'Neu' Altbier Returns After 7 Years
The third beer ever produced by Orbit returns (back by popular demand). A nod to the early days of Orbit Beers and a toast to the future. We’ll also have the Beer & Burger deal on as usual (£12) with resident chefs , and we'll be showing the men’s European Championship semi-final, so book a table if you're keen to watch.

Thursday, 11th July: Birthday Barrel-Aged Evening
The launch of another special birthday beer: The BA Damson Blend: Cuvée de Cologne 2024 alongside rare barrel-aged beers from the archives on tap. The 2022 Barrel-Aged Lentebock and BA Barley Wine, plus the 2024 BA Keeping Porter collaboration with Anspach and Hobday

Friday, 12th July: A Big Cheers to 10 Years
Customers will get 10% off beers until 9pm with a "Bring Your Own Vinyl" party to thank you for all your support over the years. 20 mins on the decks gets you a free pint as always.

Saturday, 13th July: The Big Party!
Join us from midday for the big birthday celebration. We’ll have the Cue Point LDN chefs cooking some BBQ specials in the yard, Orbit DJs on the decks throughout the day, Dead Wax on cask, and the full line-up of birthday specials on tap. It’s going to be an unforgettable day of great food, great music, and great beer.

Sunday 14th July: Roasts and Euros Final
To recover from our busy week, we'll be enjoying a Cue Point roast here as usual on Sunday with the Euros final on the TV. The perfect ending to a busy week!

We'll be showing the Men's Euros at the taproom throughout the tournament. We'll have the TV set up at the back of the taproom so recommend booking a table and letting us know you're here for the football when booking.

We're SO sorry, but we're closed on Saturday 8th June for the whole day. A rarity here at the Orbit Taproom! One of our ex-members of staff is getting married here ❤️ otherwise we wouldn't normally let you down.

HOWEVER, you can get a pint of Nico down the road that day at Pullens Open Studios where we'll have a pop-up bar all weekend.
You'll find Nico, Tzatziki Sour, Ivo, and 24hr Party Pilsner on tap.

Pullens Yard open their studios twice a year to the public. Expect live music, food, shopping, workshops, Orbit Beers, and more this weekend.

Pullens Yards were purpose-built for designer-makers in the late 1880s. The studios have housed craftspeople, working with their hands, for a hundred & twenty years. Unsurprisingly, over this length of time, what most of the craftspeople produce has evolved: at one time the Yards boasted lace makers, fan makers, and cabinet makers; who have been replaced by today’s filmmakers, jewellers, and artist potters to name a few. Some crafts have stayed, and furniture designers and letterpress printers are still there now.
