This weekend is the last chance to catch the magical folk beasts creations made by artists at

In 2020 we collaborated with to create and send out hundreds of art packs to supported studios across the U.K. as part of our Folk Beasts outreach project. In the case of Henshaws Arts and Crafts Centre the project grew in a way we couldn’t have imagined. Folk Beasts became a central theme across all the workshops for the art makers over the last 2 years.

Facilitator Sharon reflects on one of the artists who made a huge body of work across many mediums — “Julie is incredibly skilled, industrious and mischievous, which shows in the body of work she produced.

Her creative output for the Folk Beast project was prolific — Her imaginative response to the brief bought much admiration and delight.”

In 2020 we collaborated with The Golden Thread Project to create Folk Beast themed art packs to send to artists who were isolating as a result of the pandemic. We have been amazed by the outcome from this expansive project and now is a chance to see some of this amazing work in person!

This is our last exhibition of the year so please join us to celebrate next Saturday from 6—9pm at Hart Club.

Exhibition continues weekends in December from 11am—5pm from the 4th.
