A searing story of two brothers following their father’s death. Wrapped in grief and lost in their relationships, this is a moving story about the navigation of emotions, how we harness them and ultimately test their fragility.

New friend Elio brought the energy to his , he had a swift browse of the new thrillers, a good chin wag, a snack, then we were ready to roll!
Modelling his natty jacket (puffer AND chic knitwear combo), we tried his left side, then his right side and decided that his best side is his ears!
Big thanks to for dropping in to sign copies of his incredible debut non-fiction book, The History of Information.
Apparently 17 years in the making, this book spans the story of information, from the first languages and cave paintings through to how we communicate and share information today.
Illustrated throughout with a mix of graphics, timelines and illustrations, this really is a fascinating book for children and adults alike.

As we collectively take a breath over the summer, there’s no better time to find some bandwidth to expand our understanding of what came, how we are learning to manage and what we are planning.

💥💥Shouting from the rooftops about:
All the Colours of the Dark by
Sometimes, a book lives up to its hype, and this, in our opinion, is definitely one of those times.
“ Late one summer, the town of M***a Clare is shattered by the abduction of teenager Joseph ‘Patch’ Macauley. Nobody more so than Saint Brown, who will risk everything to find her best friend.
But when she does: it will break her heart.”
Chris Whitaker writes people and places with a special kind of magic. You live alongside these fully rounded, flawed, but brilliant people. You think about them when you close the book, and they stay with you when you’ve finished it.
All the Colours of the Dark is an epic story, decades pass and characters grow up and change but the reader gladly goes on the journey with them.
This is a coming-of-age story and a murder mystery, but at its heart it’s a story of love and friendship, and the lengths we would go to for the people we care about the most.
