The ‘Lost Keys’ cocktail pays homage to a moving piece of Strand Palace’s history. During World War I, American soldiers staying with us held onto their room keys, hoping to one day return to their home away from home. Yesterday, our team got together for a Halloween quiz night to raise money for the amazing work of Only A Pavement Away. We raised £600 to support OAPA’s important work in helping individuals experiencing homelessness find stability and job opportunities in the hospitality industry.
Supporting amazing charities such as Only A Pavement Away is important for us, and we are committed to continuing our efforts. Wishing you a very happy halloween! ♥️🎃

During your stay, you can participate in our 'Go Green' program by simply placing the provided door hanger outside your bedroom door before 2am, opting out of housekeeping for the day.

👻 Ghost Tour along the Thames- ‘Fright On The Thames’ is a tour which explores the eerie history of London along the Thames. The tour is running from 26th October to 3 November from London Eye Waterloo Pier, which is an 18 minute walk from Strand Palace.
🎃 Halloween at Seven Dials Market- Join the spooky festivities at Seven Dials Market on October 30th from 7pm, featuring Halloween specials from incredible market vendors, and frightfully fun surprises! (Seven Dials Market is 10 minute walk from Strand Palace)
🍬 Halloween Trick or Treat Trail at Covent Garden- Experience a fun-filled trick or treat trail in Covent Garden on October 31st. Sign up on Covent Garden's website, to receive the Halloween Trail as only trail holders can follow the route and claim the goodies on offer. (Covent Garden is a 5 minute walk from Strand Palace)

at Strand Palace – last Friday was a special day, as we teamed up with Only A Pavement Away for their Food 4 Thought campaign. Alongside five other hospitality operators, we came together to provide 500 nourishing meals to OAPA’s charity partners.
Only A Pavement Away is a charity that supports and connects people facing homelessness, prison leavers, and veterans with careers in the hospitality industry. We believe in the power of community, and we’re proud to have been able to support OAPA in their important work. ❤️
