French couturier, Hubert de Givenchy, was still at the helm of his eponymous fashion house when this complete ensemble walked the brand’s runway for the spring / summer 1977 ready to wear collection.

This two-piece is made up of a navy-blue silk shirt with spaghetti straps, cut-out shoulders and balloon sleeves, paired with a vibrant, emerald green linen skirt with navy trim along the bottom hem.

Rare 1970s André Courrèges turquoise maxi dress complete with low back and bow strap detail.

These 1991s Chanel earrings are in impeccable vintage condition and designed by Victoire de Castallane. They featured in the Spring/Summer 1991 collection, and are shown in a green version on Linda Evangelista (pictured). They feature a raised square etched design and inset is a purple gripoix or hand poured glass stone. The designers signature is located below the clip fastenings on both pieces with season '25' which corresponds to 1986 as the year of manufacture. A delicious combination of kitsch and classic Gripoix for Chanel design, these are a wonderful addition to any collection and have seen little use in their lifetime. The clip-on earrings are not heavy and I have had Chanel put new comfort backings on for the lucky new owner.

This Yves Saint Laurent hammered gold metal belt was the stand out accessory from the spring / summer 1989/1990 catwalk and we have selected several of the runway pictures to show just how many ensembles the design was paired with. The belt is entirely handmade of lightweight base metal which has been 24ct gold plated. Featuring a scrolling design, the look is almost classical Greek and it discreetly fastens with a hook closure at the front. Check this runway documented Jeremy Scott novelty grandfather clock dress from his autumn / winter 2008 collection. Check this incredible teal blue velvet couture frock coat by Vivienne Westwood is an excellent example of her interest in Victorian silhouettes and traditional 'dandy' styles. It featured heavily in her Fall/Winter 1994 collection, which came at the very height of her designing career. This is from the top of the range and Westwood's gold label collection with pieces made in very limited numbers. In fabulous vintage condition with no flaws or marks. Labelled a Size 10 UK, it is important to remember that Vivienne Westwood's own sizing system tends to come up small, and so this would best fit a size 6-8 UK, or 2-4 US.

Documented Rudi Gurniech red and purple "cross my heart" maxi dress circa 1969. The celebrated signer and actress, Barbara Streisand, owned many of Gurniech designs including this example and we have attached a photoshoot of her wearing a checked, sleeveless version from the same year. Cut in a classic late 1960s shape, with high empire line waist and long sleeves, it features a back zip closure and a soft V neckline on both front and back.
This piece would be perfect for the upcoming winter season, dressed up for parties or worn casually with chunky boots. It is in lovely vintage condition with no visible flaws, and would best fit a size 6-8 UK.

This documented Chanel by Karl Lagerfeld ribbed knit dress is from the pre-Fall 2018 Métiers d’Art show in Hamburg, the German seaport of his birth. We have attached runway look 33 and 34 to show both the wool pattern and the dress design respectively. The dress combines the practicality of winter dressing with a contemporary, almost abstract feel. Fitted throughout the body, the dress falls to roughly below the knee, and would be perfect in the colder months with a pair of boots or funky tights.
It features the 'Chanel 31 Rue de Cambon' badge to the front left hip, signifying the Paris address bought by Coco Chanel herself in 1921. The dress is in superb condition with no faults or marks to note and looks unworn. It would best fit a UK 10, or 6 US and is labelled a French 40.

This particular skirt was almost certainly made as a showpiece for the theatre at the turn of the last century and sourced in Paris. It's incredibly rare to find such antique garments and I love the fresh and modern look of these promo shots for the new album.

This is an exceptionally fine 1980s haute couture velvet column dress that features an elaborate stomacher jewel which is sewn into the sweetheart bodice. The stomacher jewel features a very large faceted faux citrine stone with pave set diamantes on silvered metal. Three articulated drops each feature the famous "Braque Dove" motif first used by Saint Laurent in 1983 and appearing in numerous collections throughout the decade. Fully marked to the rear with the designer's initials, there is no doubt that this was made by Robert Goossens for the House and is a whopping 13cm by 8cm. It is possible this jewel is from the YSL Spring / Summer 1988 Braque collection. In pristine vintage condition with no faults of any note. It has clearly only been worn a handful of times and was used as part of the wardrobe of a feature film by the lead actress which we attach to show the fit. Best for a UK size 6, US 2 or sample size.

These are a really fun vintage pair of Hermes clip earrings in the shape of a fan and date from the 1990s. The cloisonne enamel motif features an equestrian design of girth straps. Hermes at this time used only precious metal in their earrings so I strongly suspect these are sterling silver with gold-plating. A very wearable and timeless design from the greatest luxury fashion house of them all.

Channelling a vibe today with our documented And opulent Chanel #1984 season 23 gold tone cuff with openwork is in impeccable condition and designed by Victoire de Castallane. This piece is lightweight and enjoyable to wear despite its volume. The Chanel signature is located on the reverse towards the tip. Will fit extra small in wrist size.

Original 1950s white mink shawl made up of 6 fully stranded pelts with each of the triple layers individually backed to form a compact shoulder capelet. The cape is fully lined in a very fine quality off white embossed jacquard silk fabric with a rose print pattern. The label is hand stitched inside and reads, ‘Genuine Emba Jasmine Strand Natural White Mutation Mink’. The capelet closes with two fur hooks at the top of the capelet. Each of the layers of fur is also fully backed with this wonderful quality jacquard silk. I've never seen a jacket layered in this way which gives it a beautiful, tiered effect.
Condition wise, this is as good as it gets for a jacket dating from this period. The mink is a wonderful rich cream colour, not white, as white mink suggests. These are top quality pelts with no fur shedding.
No significant marks on the silk and it is not monogrammed.

Just in is this original 1970s Gucci Floral Silk Scarf by the famed designer V.Accornero. This is a very sought after, early design in a really beautiful pink colourway. 100% Silk. The handrolled edge is very plump. Never been washed so the silk retains its lustre. The flowers and fruits depict the four seasons.

A fine and rare 1940s Anne-Marie of France novelty handbag. Made from black kid leather and in the shape of a telephone, with the telephone receiver holder functioning as the lever clasp to open the bag. Inside is a black satin lined compartment with one internal pocket. The bag’s hardware is in brass which includes the telephone dial itself, edges of the ear and mouth receivers and the frame. Inscribed 'Anne-Marie, Paris, Ope. 44-39'.

In terms of condition, this is verging on excellent with some age appropriate wear. It has been in Circa's collection for many years.
Anne-Marie's shop was on the ground floor of the Hôtel Meurice where she sold small luxury goods including gloves and perfume, to the Parisian elite. However, she is best known for the wonderfully detailed figural handbags that the hotel's VIP guests were often gifted during a stay. These novelty surrealist bags are well documented and other examples include a “piano bag” with keys, a “cocktail bar” bag with miniature spirit bottles, an "ice bucket" full of lucite ice cubes and an ice tong as well as a “Champagne bucket” with, well, you know what. Anne-Marie bags are owned by major fashion and historical museums worldwide including the New York Metropolitan Museum. These 1940s bags were designed as collectors items and are increasingly rare to market in display condition. This is one is for the fine vintage collector, creative director or curator as these original and whimsical bags have never been equalled.

There's Thierry Mugler jackets and then there's this Thierry Mugler jacket! This is as good as it gets and it dates from around the time period in the mid 1990s when Thierry Mugler was the most celebrated designer on the catwalk at Paris Fashion Week. The sleeves are a very desirable dolman shape and the seams of the bodice follow the exaggerated curve of the female form to the letter. There is a asymmetric handkerchief pocket to one side beautifully shaped of course as is the singular front fastening button in a faceted plastic. There are matching smaller versions on each of the cuffs too. Everything about this jacket is exquisite including the condition which is absolutely impeccable with no faults of any note. It is lined in a lightweight black acetate. You will struggle to find a better example than this piece. It has the large blue couture label and is a French size 36. Mugler sizing runs small from this time period and this is best suited to round a size UK 6 - US 2 in modern sizing. For the collector and connoisseur of fine vintage!
