Congratulations to Manaal who has successfully passed her Practical Driving Test on her first attempt at Morden Test Centre today! Manaal came to me after experiencing some setbacks with her previous instructor. However, with just a few lessons under our belt, she was fully prepared and ready to ace the test.

Thank you for the shiny car😎. I usually keep the car spotless, but a detailer gets into the nooks and crannies your usual car wash/yourself miss. A proper detail valet inside- out is recommended at least once a year to keep a car looking at it's best in my opinion. Defo the guy to see if your in need of a proper valet or even a more basic wash. Thanks again. Car looks brand new🌟

Windscreen wipers - something we often don’t appreciate fully until we really need them. Whether it’s bugs, dirt or torrential rain, not being able to see clearly out of your windscreen is not only annoying, it can also be incredibly dangerous - potentially putting you in the way of oncoming hazards. That’s why it’s important to keep your wipers in mind when it comes to your car maintenance.
As with many other components on your car, the windscreen wiper blades naturally deteriorate over time. This is in part due to exposure to the elements, as well as due to general wear and tear from being in use.

Depending on how frequently you use them, windscreen wipers can start to deteriorate in as little as 6 months, although we typically recommend that you replace your wiper blades every 12 months to make sure that you always have maximum visibility of the road.

If you’re not sure whether or not you need to invest in new wiper blades, keep an eye out for some of the following signs:

• If your wipers are leaving streaks or blank spots

• If they don’t move over the windscreen smoothly

• If the wipers don’t make proper contact with the windscreen, or leave some parts dry

• If you can see cracks or rough edges on the rubber blades

An unclean windscreen presents a serious safety hazard for drivers. Not only can a lack of visibility cause a potentially serious accident, but it can also cause damage to your car. If the rubber blade is damaged, then the wiper arm can rub against the glass - ruining the windscreen over time, and increasing the likelihood of cracks in the glass.

If your windscreen wipers aren’t effective, then it can also result in an MOT failure, so it’s well worth making sure you check your wipers before taking your MOT test - and arrange replacements beforehand if necessary.

After a major motorcycle accident few years ago, Jerry had to learn to walk again😔. Suffering from PTSD from the accident, he was determined to be back on the road, this time on 4 wheels. Well done bruv. Massive achievement with only 15-20 hours in lesson to top it off. Super glad I could have been a part of your journey and I'll see you on our road lol.
