It’s worth knowing that you can register a UK limited by shares company with just one person.

That's right! Just one.

You can have a sole director and shareholder of your company, and they can be the same person.

This person can be a national and resident of any country (although the company’s registered office needs to be in the UK) but must be aged 16 or over.

If you are forming a company with one person they are required to fill the following roles:

👉Director (the person who runs the company)
👉Shareholder (the person who owns the company)

The secretary appointment is optional.

A standard incorporation for a Limited Company has risen from £12 to £50 and now filing your confirmation statement will cost £34 (previously £13).

Consequently, our prices are also rising.

Because our services include Companies House fees, our costs have gone up. Due to this, we have no choice but to raise our prices.
