Meet Ed Burkes •
“My intent as an image maker is to paint through words. I am fascinated by the notion that narrative, truth and fiction can lend themselves to one another in a way that can offer up genuine questions. Words can in fact lie but feeling is universal in its potency.”

Meet Kate Florence
Kate continuously works within the constraints of familiar female forms, exploring the depths of the human existence in its many forms. A marriage of classical and abstract. Kate works in an intuitive process, creating conversation through colour and forms, her expressiveness is revealed through fluid application of paint, her focus tuned into the emotive response of colour.
Meet Edward Pooley
Edward’s work is examining the virus of language that permits us to speak. Behind this implicit notion, his work tries to grapple with an inner tension that is left unresolved at all times in order for an observer to gain entry into his recursive feedback loop, embedded within his work.

Kelly Jessiman’s ( ) forms are born at the family dinner table in St Leonards on sea. Fired and glazed in her garden shed, each piece undergoes an organic evolution, inspired by everything from contemporary paintings to ancient artifacts.
For Kelly, pottery is a dance with unpredictability. The clay, moulded by hand, takes on a life of its own, shaping the final form. In her artistic process, the glazing decision comes after, guided by the clay's inherent character.

Introducing Leo Kaspar ( )
Leo Kaspar is a multidisciplinary artist working between London and Devon. His glassmaking process involves heating glass and 'slumping' it over an object to create the form - one of the earliest forms of glassmaking.
His work is characterised by levity in weight: playfulness and colour set within a luxurious jumbling of shape and mass.
