Now recruiting for a Care Coordinator to be based at the award winning Kare Plus Romford office in Hornchurch! Salary from £18k-22k p.a.

Duties:

· To report to the Care Manager for the day to day service provisions and produce weekly care worker rotas.

· Update our internal system - Pass System with any changes for client visits such as change in carer attending or the times attended, as well as producing weekly invoices.

· To familiarise with CQC new Single Assessment Framework

As the weather starts to change, we want to be sure that our elders can be safe in their homes and when venturing out of the house for a winter walk 🚶☃️

Here are some tips to keep in mind when visiting your loved ones and assisting them out and about 👇

🏡 If the doorway of your elder's home has steps leading up to it, it’s well worth investing in an outdoor grab rail to support them during icy weather for easy access

🧂 As the winter ice appears, be sure to scatter salt grit across their driveways and paths to avoid slips and falls when accessing the house

🥾 If they don't have suitable shoes for winter, invest in some boots with thick, non-slip soles for walking in icy conditions, along with a nice fleece lining to keep their feet warm

🚶 While out walking on icy ground, be sure to take their pace into account, taking short and flat steps whilst allowing them to hold your hand or arm can provide more stability
