Pelvic Floor Secrets a revolution in Pelvic Floor Exercise for women and men of all ages! 6 weeks to confidence, continence and sexual satisfaction!
Pelvic Floor Secrets is really worth the investment! A great butt, flatter abs and great thighs: dry knickers always, organs in the right place, great posture and amazing intimacy! Do you need to think about whether your pelvic floor is worth it? www.pelvicfloorsecrets.com Because Your Worth it!
Emotional Empowerment IS the key to Hormonal Harmony!
If I asked you how stressful is your life? Would you answer “Life is stressful enough!” And I asked when it comes to exercise how do you let off steam? And you told me you turn to high-intensity cardiovascular workouts to blow off steam - to feel better. And I then said “What if I told you that this may actually be adding to your hormonal imbalance? 🚫” would that comes as a shock?
Your well-intentional efforts could be inadvertently stimulating a stress response that can lead to more body fat around your middle - rather than less! 😫. Whilst exercise can be a good way to reduce weight, relieve stress and improve cardiovascular health. It can have the complete opposite effect if done incorrectly - or with little understanding of the relationship between your elevated levels of stress and exercises that increases the stress within rather than harmonising your hormones and reducing it‼️
Understanding the difference between movement that matters and exercise prescription/programme design is crucial. Especially during menopause. ‘If you are not assessing - you are guessing!’ Your health should be too important to take that chance. And the experience or knowledge of the adverse effects of the menopause be the motivator to ensure you are working toward optimising wellbeing not unintentionally minimising it!
It’s time to give up the and invest into the right education and tools to harmonise your health!
is an online workshop series that leads into an amazingly transformative 60-day journey. This journey is designed to not only harmonise your hormone but empower you emotionally as you become in tune with your inner world. 💋
Self-love needs self-care that goes beyond superficial outside living. True self-care requires self-awareness to take the right actin. And self-awareness is the guiding light to ensure your self-love and self-care are managed well. 💯
Join me for my next online workshop this Saturday August 10th at 11am. Can’t make the live? No worries, once registered you will be able to watch the replay. All workshops are recorded so you have the opportunity to repeat and implement.

☀️ Maximising your health should be a full-time job, one that never has a vacancy. When we neglect our intimate and overall health, we leave the door open to dis-ease, dysfunction and debilitation. Maintaining good health requires conscious and international practices, such as ensuring quality sleep hygiene.
📺 Our 24/7 lifestyle, comes at a cost to our health. We often let social media and TV binge-watching - our modern habits steal our sleep! The Bible says: “the devil comes to steal, kill and destroy.” Similarly, this modern habits is slowly destroying our health: robbing us of melatonin - the sleep hygiene - whilst increasing cortisol, our wake-up hormone. This imbalance robs our body of its vital repair, rebuild, refresh and restore cycle. It slows down healing, overworks our organs of detoxification and makes our digestive system sluggish. It affects reproductive health and creates mental and emotional instability which is like killing your youthfulness and vitality.
😫 We become fatigued, struggle to focus and experience brain fog at any age! A stressed body doesn’t breathe well, leading to aging skin, wrinkles and sagging.
The eyes lack oxygen, forming bags under them and on it goes. We struggle with positive thoughts and lack the motivation to move, often reaching for quick fixes that spike cortisol and perpetuate a cycle of highs and crashes.
✨ This is just the tip of the iceberg in understanding our health. The time is now to put up your internal sign that says, “No Vacancies Here -The role of maximising your health is filled.” Enjoy the rewards of vitality, performance, youthfulness, freedom of movement and wardrobe choice - and lustrous hair, skin, eyes and nails. It’s worth it.

If it affects your mind - it affects your pelvis!!
Anxiety is a pelvic issue that does not serve our bodies well. The root and sacral chakras, which relate to safety and security, s*x and relationships are particularly impacted. This is why management of anxiety is essential for women in every stage of life:
⚖️ Chakra Imbalance:
💫 Root Chakra (Muladhara): Anxiety disrupts our sense of safety and stability which leads to physical manifestations in the pelvic region.
💫 Sacral Chakra (Svadhisthana): Anxiety in this region blocks emotional and s*xual energy, which affects intimacy and reproductive health (infertility and maintenance of pregnancy, foetal health).
🧘🏿♀️ Physical Symptoms:
🫁 Altered breathing patterns; shallow breathing, or holding the breath disrupts PH balance, digestion and s*x hormone regulation. This may lead to tension headaches and brain fog, affecting productivity and performance, presenteeism and absenteeism.
🧘🏿♀️ Anxiety can worsen a “nervous bladder,” increasing urgency and frequency. It heightens symptoms across different life stages: menstrual, maternal and menopausal - creating additional discomfort and stress and issues as above.
Anxiety itself is an emotional response to perceived threats or stressors. And many women are unaware of the connection between anxiety and pelvic health. Having this crucial knowledge is essential to minimising the negative affects of our thoughts and emotions on our s*x and reproductive health and thus how it shows up in our life stages.
Try these 3 simple tips:
🫁 Breath is life-force energy. Practice deep breathing to calm a racing mind and calm the nervous system - it will help to restore balance. This goes hand in hand with positive self talk. “I AM…” ”It is…” “I can…” “I will…” - you may not feel it at the time, but repeated often in place of the negative words and then followed by deep breathing and you can change your inner state and thus quash any fears you may have to avoid affecting your pelvic health.
💦 Hydration - water is vital to support good digestion and hormone regulation - brain health and emotional well-being to name a few.
😴 Quality Sleep - circadian rhythms are vital to the regulation of our hormones and stress reduction. Melatonin is our sleep hormone, cortisol our wake up hormone. Getting to be as close to 10pm as possibly and allowing the rise of cortisol with the sun to wake us is vital to repair, restore, rebuild and refresh our body and our health.
The SHE in SHE COMES FIRST underpins our whole being:
S: Self-Love, Self-Care, Self-Awareness.
H: Hormonal Harmony
E: Emotional Empowerment
It is the foundation of managing anxiety and overall wellbeing. Integrating these strategies can mitigate anxiety’s impact on pelvic health and enhance over wellbeing. The 60-day journey takes you through 13 transformational and invaluable steps to live life better.
☀️ It’s Fabulous Friday! Look fabulous because you can.
What five reasons do you have to be grateful for today?
Here’s mine:
💫 I was blessed with the gift of a peaceful and restful nights sleep and opened my eyes to see the beauty of the Lord in the land of the living! I have an opportunity to live and enjoy another day.
🌟 My son’s are blessed and doing very well.
🎈 My health is my secret weapon and continue to enjoy it on a daily basis. I have freedom of movement, flexibility, stability, strength and power.
🌹 My family is alive apart from my father. I give huge thanks for that many have lost more in their family. I do not take this lightly.
💃🏿 I am playing my favourite sport at 10am 🎾🎾- I am captain of David Lloyd’s Enfield 4th team - we are top of the league - all wins thus far. Winchmore Hill who we played Tuesday said I have given the best hospitality and food of all matches. I am blessed - we are blessed.
Over to you? ❣️
🏋🏿♀️ Strength training for women is a transformative journey that has taken centre stage more than ever before thanks to social media. But what considerations should be given to women, since we are equal but not the same?
The ‘social media trainers’ of today who have a programme for themselves are sharing their journey - but is it safe and effective for everyone? And, have women ensured they have the five most important foundation exercises mastered before they ‘jump on the bandwagon?’
Our bodies have unique needs that must be addressed in order to build a strong foundation that will support us at every stage of life:
✨ Pelvic Floor Exercises:
The importance of pelvic floor muscles is far reaching. It is crucial for spinal support, organ integrity, continence, s*xual satisfaction and protection against prolapse. It is the foundation of trunk, linking our inner and outer worlds.
🌟 Transverse Abdominal activation:
This muscle runs laterally around the trunk and acts as a stabiliser of the spine allowing the limbs to move. It is on the same FireWire from the brain as the pelvic floor. It helps support the reproductive and eliminatory organs in their natural position and helps with delivery in childbirth. When this muscle is not fully or effectively activated, functional movement’s are compromised. This opens the door to injury, because of the ‘faulty recruitment’ - way in which the exercise is executed.
💫 Multifidus
This muscle works in tandem with transverse abdominal and is also on the FireWire. It is the true stabiliser of the low back and together with the transverse and pelvic floor acts as the body’s natural girdle to stabilise the trunk and allow exercises to be performed properly.
🎈Glute medius strengthening:
This muscles supports the pelvis and aids in the external rotation of the hip. Weakness here can lead to over activity of the piriformis, potentially causing piriformis syndrome and sciatica.
🫁 Diaphragmatic breathing:
The respiratory diaphragm is the body’s biggest biological pump, directly influencing the pressure fluctuations in the abdominal cavity and pelvic floor. Proper function is essential for the synergy between the abdominal wall and pelvic floor. For continence and prevention of organ prolapse.
Practising deep diaphragmatic breathing techniques is vital to ensure the diaphragm works optimally, which encourages better digestion; helping to prevent a sluggish gut and bloating. For organ vitality - since it helps with the life-force of organ health and for overall core stability and function.
By mastering these foundational exercises, women can build the strength, confidence and stability needed for the more advanced training. These exercises support not only physical performance but also the vital functions of continence, s*xual health and organ support. Ensuring a healthy and empowered body at every stage of life.
Deep breathing - a Pelvic Secret worth sharing:
🧘🏿♀️ Deep breathing is more than a calming practice; it’s an essential component of the health of your pelvic organs. Oxygen - the lifeforce energy within, is crucial for maintaining the vitality, integrity and support of these organs. Both women and men need to understand this fundamental connection and see oxygen as a ‘nutrient’ - the most essential ‘nutrient’ for life and living.
🫁 Good breathing nourishes the muscles and ligaments supporting the pelvic organs, helping to ensure they remain in their proper anatomical position. This promotes effective detoxification and elimination, reducing strain of the bowel and bladder and encouraging good flow and organ integrity. Deep breathing also fosters hormonal harmony within and between the uterus and ovaries, which helps maintain their ‘youthful function.’
Without good breath, pelvic organs can suffer. Poor breathing can lead to weakened support structures, hormonal imbalances, compromised detoxification, a sluggish gut, stagnating waste, which can have the potential to ‘stretch’ the ligaments that support the closure of the sphincters to prevent involuntary leakage.
This potential impacts not just your health but also your confidence in the management of intimate wellbeing.
Learning to breathe deeply for the sake of your pelvic organs, is a pelvic secret many overlook or do not consider. Embrace this practice to enhance your wellbeing and confidence. Your pelvic health will reward you through it!
When the pelvic floor becomes your central focus
For many the only time the pelvic floor becomes the central focus is when it is doing something you don’t want it to do – and that something is usually embarrassing. That’s the pelvic floor secret you wished you never had – the dilemma faced silently especially when it comes to intimacy. Why is this happening?
Our belief system about the pelvic floor is flawed. The subliminal messages in advertisements and marketing push the idea that incontinence for example is a natural consequence of childbirth or aging, which suggests we can do nothing but “soak up” the issue discreetly. This ‘sets our minds’ and keeps us complacent.
Incontinence products negatively contribute to landfill, whilst increasing the profits of the companies that produce them whilst continuing the miseducation and lack of understanding or openness around this continued taboo.
We not only risk our dignity, we also risk our relationships; personal, professional and intimate by not addressing this issue! Media has us valuing possessions over health, equating our worth with tangible items. Yet our confidence is intrinsically aligned to the vitality of our pelvic floor:
“Hidden from view, not a thought or regard - the pelvic floor, your internal ‘bodyguard.’
💫 Everything starts within: health, sickness, our attitudes. Even the initial response to an external injury - the reaction is within! Thus it would be wise for us to reprogram our beliefs about the pelvic floor. These muscles are the foundation of our body - that link our inner and outer worlds. They are not an age related issue - they are a human issue; male or female.
Until we truly understand the value in our pelvic floor, we will continue to lack the care for it. If we still buy into the narrative that it’s only relevant for s*x and babies, without regard for its everyday role in pelvic and spinal stability, gait and movement ability. Or even its contribution to the shape and contour of our lower abdominals, butt, thighs and posture - visible benefits that boost confidence and self-esteem - we will continue to be plagued by pelvic secrets that have the potential to limit careers, relationships and quality of life.
🌹 No one can give you your health and happiness besides you. Choose to value your pelvic floor and its rewards will be amazing for they do afford freedom of the soul.
Be Ready, Be Educated
Maximise your mind, maximise your life
It all starts with your thoughts/beliefs.

When it comes to the choices we make for our health and happiness. What needs to shift in our mind to follow through?
muscles are an under-utilised , aren't they?
💫 Pelvic floor muscles are a key part of our body's architecture. These amazing set of muscles we’re born with, develop as our bodies grow to support and protect all those crucial parts inside us; including the nervous systems responsible for activities like urination and bowel movements.
💫 They work EVERY DAY of our lives with the lower abdominal and low back (multifidus) to provide pelvic and spinal stability in standing, sitting or lying down as well as all of our and social activities. Our posture and performance.
With all this in mind - their daily role which will directly affect our confidence if any of the above mentioned begins to let us down, how are they STILL not a part of the curriculum in schools?
❓When will we update the curriculum to support and protect young girls in school and young boys from avoidable and poorer posture?
❓Which sets them up for dysfunction and injury.
is the position from which ALL movements begin and end!
✅ Better posture, better movement ability less likelihood for injury.
❌ Poorer posture, poorer movement ability increased likelihood for injury.
✅ Puberty is the first major event to affect the pelvic floor and reproductive system. As children head into puberty - their school books and bags are their first “posture” and pelvic floor affecting challenge! Loaded bags are “weights” and weights carried poorly exacerbate poor posture.
❌ Poor posture affects pelvic angle and continence is the first injury experienced by 3% of teenagers between 15-16yr olds (old study 2019) don’t underestimate 3% in numbers because it is hundreds of thousands 🤦🏾♀️.
✅ Menstrual flow directly affects stability of the pelvis and spine - which impacts sport.
✅ For boys play contact sports - weight training needs to be included now to protect joints BUT not one size fits all.
Let’s open the conversation so that girls are not leaving school with weak muscles that impact every area of their life before they even become potential parents enjoying intimacy!
❓Would you be a parent happy for your child to understand her body first before she understands her body as a s*xual attractor?
