Up & Over
Introducing a rhythm to the framework; an up & over ‘weaving’ method to test flexibility of function (of internal spaces) with the facade. The layering of openings and infill for a mixed-use, community based feasibility study.

Within the curtilage of a Grade II listed house & garden is a new-build studio that is part of a larger renovation project, currently on site.
Early visuals indicate timber details of the new studio, which is nestled within the large garden. The use of timber compliments & juxtaposes the stucco facade of the main house.

Planning and listed building consent has been granted for the alteration and extension of a Grade II listed building.
Within a garden square, we drew reference from the rhythm and verticality of the surrounding architectural context to unify a previously extended facade.
Conservatory
As part of a wider project proposal we are delighted to receive Listed Building consent for a new stair within an extraordinary existing conservatory of a Grade II listed house.
A beautiful but narrow, tapering space was challenging to inhabit and remained unused for many years. With the recent approval it now becomes a connecting space with a stair to link the ground floor to the lower ground and garden as part of the whole house refurbishment.
Excited to share more on this project in the upcoming months.

Red House
Planning approval for a rear infill extension to replace an old kitchen with a new garden room and connecting stair.
Taking reference from the existing red windows, the new extension includes a dark red metal corrugated roof.
An exciting collaboration with on a property that has been untouched for decades, to become a new family home in East London.
The light filled new side extension feels wide and open.
It forms a new access & connection to the lower levels of the house, providing an everyday essential link for a young family.
