At a time difficult for so many, our beloved hospitality sector is being devastated.
First to feel the hit, and likely last to reopen in any meaningful way, restaurants and bars need all the help they can get.
’s Job Retention Scheme has been a lifeline, but we need to do more to protect this industry and keep businesses open and jobs safe.
The Drop and Harts Group stand with and many industry colleagues and friends in calling for a and a 9 month to this end.

Sadly, at a time when people could really do with several bottles of wine, close human engagement and the cosseted feeling of being looked after at your regular joint, the latter two at least are becoming extremely tricky.
Like many of our friends, we are closing our restaurant to protect our staff and guests. You all read the news and have Instagram so don’t need us to repeat why.
The Drop is particularly special because of the familiarity and lightly worn excellence of the team. Our priority is looking after them.
We’ll be back as soon as we can and are working on some things for whilst you can’t physically come in to see us.
Don’t make a testing situation worse by drinking bad wine.
