You may have wondered where I’ve been for all these months…

A lot of things have changed in the last 3 years and as life goes on, it has not been easy to keep everything together!

Since COVID, it was very difficult for me to keep my UK business alive and I’ve managed to do that thanks to some amazing girls who have worked with me very hard to make it possible.

Unfortunately, things have changed in the last months and as my personal life brought me back to Italy - even if I’ve been trying so hard to make things work - it is time to temporarily say goodbye to DOLCE London…

BUT, I’m not saying it’s the end, if you know me, you know that I’m and optimistic enthusiastic (very stubborn as well) so I’ll do my best to find a solution - again - to be back ASAP.

AND, my baking adventure doesn’t stop here but of course it has followed me to Italy… So if you want to support my new baking project and be part of another crazy journey, feel free to follow and spread the voice to all your relatives and friends living in Milan!! As I said, it is not a goodbye but I want to thank with every little piece of my heart all of those who have believed in my little dream, supported my business in many ways, enjoyed my cakes and pastries and made it possible for all these years.

It was an amazing journey so far, I couldn’t be more grateful of what I’ve achieved, of all the joy I’ve shared with you and the satisfaction I got from this little business of mine. It has made me really happy and meant a lot to me.

Hello!👋 I know it’s been awhile (almost 3 months) since my last post here but hey, so many things going on at the same time!😅

Happy to share with you this super number cake 🎂that I made few weeks ago for the baptism of my friend’s daughter - the lovely Nina!💕

It was the first time that I made a full name in cake shape and I think the final result looks just wow !!🤩

Yesterday we’ve celebrated Sofia half year (actually 6 months)!💖

Every occasion is a good excuse to bake a cake 🎂, even at home!!

Sofia couldn’t help but putting her hand in the cake and having a (very very very) little try! 😋

Happy 6️⃣months my lovely Sofia, you are sweetest babygirl I could ever wish for!🥰

PS: Alice was quite mad at me because I made this cake alone without her help!😵‍💫

Pastiera and handmade chocolate eggs🥚…This Easter we had a blast 💥 with our sweet treats!

I’m not a fan of Valentine’s Day so today was just an excuse to bake something new with my daughter Alice👩‍👧!!

We made this chocolate plumcake with a red heart ❤️in the center and she was so surprised to see it once we cut it!!🤩

Happy Halloween!!

Even if I’m not a huge fan of Halloween 👻 this is it was fun to make these themed biscotti because it was amazing to look at my daughter ‘s face when she saw them!🤩

They are super easy to make and very effective to impress kids !🙃

So I made some occhio di bue with nutella skulls💀, cinnamon and brown sugar pumpkin 🎃, witch fingers🧙‍♀️ and orange and cocoa bats🦇!!

On the 12th of October, we became a family of 4️⃣!

Sofia came to world 🌎 at the very beginning of the day, all in a rush she was born happy and healthy and it was amazing to have this treasure in my arms!💕

This time everything went smooth and fine (more or less 😅, I was almost delivering her in a taxi 🚕!) so I’m grateful for this little bundle of joy that I can’t explain my feelings in words.

Few days ago we’ve celebrated her first week anniversary and, as I had no time whatsoever to make a cake (😩), I couldn’t help but choose one from one of my favorite pastry shops in Milan: marlapasticceria !👩🏻‍🍳

This cake 🍰 was made to celebrate the birth of the 2 pastry chef’s daughter, named Sofia as well!😍

💖🥳HAPPY 5th ANNIVERSARY to this business of mine! 🥳💖

DOLCE London is 5️⃣years old today! 🎂

If I have to be honest with you, it seems like yesterday when it all started… 🥺Little did I know what a journey it’d have been since I received my first order on our website (on the 16th of August 2017)!

It has been a rollercoaster 🎢 of emotions - with ups & downs, successes and failures (not many, fortunately 🤪) of course - but I’m still 100% happy of my life choice and the path I chose💫 for myself.

Running a business on your own can be really tough sometimes and quite lonely but I’ve always had the support of my husband, my customers and then of my family as well (it took awhile 😅).

In the last years, the huge help of my assistant pastry chef 👩🏻‍🍳 Nico was essential to keep this business alive and at its best, so a big thank you definitely goes to her as well! 🙏

There are some big news that I can’t wait to share with you… So stay posted!💕

We are officially on holidays !!😎

We are taking a little summer break, from today until the 13th of August (included)!☀️

Belated Christmas present but hey, it was really worth the wait! 🤩

Dining at THE best restaurant in the world 🌍 Osteria Francescana was the most incredible experience and privilege!!

Feeling so lucky for this gift and the pleasure to meet in person the one and only !

Thanks so much Chef for your art, your passion and hard work… Your menu “Vieni in Italia con me” was a real culinary trip to our beautiful country and your way to think “out of the box” is an expression of your genius … You’re a big Italian pride !! 🇮🇹

And thanks also to my lovely husband for this journey and for this ⭐️⭐️⭐️night just for us! ❤️

The best moments of my days are when you fall asleep in my arms🤱, the hugs you give me when I come to pick you up from kindergarten, when we share a snack 🍪together and invent fantastic stories🦄. And when you make your outbursts of jealousy, yelling “mom is mine !!”, I confess that a part of me goes with joy because I feel like I’m the most special person on earth.🌍

Together we are getting to know each other, teaching each other, loving each other.😍

I look at the world from your eyes and find details that I forgot to see.
I walk slowly, I observe the sky, the flowers🌸, the rain🌧…

I’ve learned again how to make animal noises, how to draw crocodiles🐊 and how to eat food that doesn’t really exist.

And even if I've never been this tired in my whole life, being your is the best thing that could ever happen to me.👩‍👧

You have drawn new in me, moving limits and expanding 💫.

Happy my Alicina, I love you so much that I don't think they’ve already invented a unit of measure to accommodate all this .💖

Not sure why I hadn’t shared this amazing cake 🎂 so far!
It was made few months ago for the 5️⃣th birthday party 🥳 of Giorgio, Hugo and Kayvaan!!

It was a special version of our famous ‘chantilly & berries’ cake, made pan di Spagna, crema pasticceria and decorate with chantilly, strawberries 🍓and mini meringues, in the shape of a number 5! 🤩
Perfectly executed by my talented assistant pastry chef Nico!👩🏻‍🍳

It was a real success and the kids were super happy !!

Pre-bookings will be open from today (30th of March) until the 10th of April: during these days you will be able to book your pastiera for Easter weekend!

Deliveries/collections of pastiera will be available on Wednesday 13th, Thursday 14th and Friday 15th ONLY.
We will be closed on Easter Saturday/Sunday!

If you are not able to select your address for the delivery during the booking, please send us an email/whatsapp message and we will do our best to bring it to you!

Pick up available, as usual, at our production point in SW2 4QA.

Do you know it’s tiramisuday today?😃

Instead of a classic tiramisu I’ve decided to post a picture of my “tiramichoux”, created for the London Dessert Festival 🍭 few years ago!!

Delicious choux craquelin filled with dark chocolate 🍫mocha ganache and tiramisu mascarpone cream, decorated with chocolate coffee bean☕️, gold leaf and chocolate cigarette... Isn’t this heaven ?
