For Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Bupa is working with Breast Cancer Now to help raise awareness to the signs and symptoms of both primary and secondary breast cancer. Bupa is proud to dedicate this post to Patricia Swannell, the Aunt of Laura Bradford, who wrote the poem. As a result, and driven by a selfless passion and determination to make a difference to those who come after her, Patricia Swannell devoted the last precious year of her life to driving change for people affected by secondary breast cancer. With special thanks also to Jo Knight, recent star of our TV advert and breast cancer survivor, for voicing the important messages in the poem.
