I just want to thank a lot of people after our dog show today and I hope I don’t miss anyone out I wanted to thank Dave, Emma, drew and Aimee’s family for helping set up and take down the marquee today and helping set up other gazebo’s, I would like to thank the volunteers that came down this morning and helped set up the stalls this morning and then stayed and helped running the stalls through out the day, thanks to dean and coral for judging throughout the day, thanks to Steve Boutwell for taking photos all day,
Thanks to Hope and Chia for nail cutting, and Aimee for helping during the interval - all the kennel staff that came and helped In the rehoming parade , thanks to all your hard work In getting these dogs ready for homes worked again today
Caroline coastal were excellent in playing music and helping out in all aspects of the day, Steve and Emily did a get job in making tea and coffees all day, Ted for collecting money for the show classes, for everyone one of our stall holders who helped make the show what it was thank you for you continued support. Thanks to everyone single person that came out and supported the show without you supporting the show classes and our stall holders the show wouldn’t have worked. My final thank you is to Kelly who worked tirelessly with me folding raffle tickets sorting stalls out and putting up with my moods

Lemon is an absolute stunner, isn’t he? His striking appearance is just the beginning of his charm. Not only is he incredibly handsome, but his personality is as kind as can be.

He is the type of boy who turns heads wherever he goes with his friendly and calm demeanour, embodying your typical greyhound personality!

Since coming into our care, Lemon has seamlessly fit in as if he has always been a part of our family. He is a picture of cleanliness, calmness and impeccable behaviour in his kennel, patiently waiting for his turn without a single complaint.

Lemon’s beauty isn’t just skin deep, his sweet nature shines through, spreading joy and love wherever he goes.

This delightful boy is all about showering us humans with affection. Lemons thrives off human interaction giving us the best cuddles at any opportunity he gets.

Lemon loves being around people of all sizes and would thrive in a home with older children. He is comfortable around all humans and would enjoy the companionship a family home provides. He would be just as happy in an adult-only home.

💙🐾THANKFUL THURSDAY🐾💙

The entire team and all our beautiful hounds at Clark’s Farm would like to take this Thankful Thursday to remember and express our deepest gratitude to the wonderful Jean, whose generous donation has made such a difference to our kennels and our dogs.

Sadly, Jean passed away in 2022 at the age of 92. She was a remarkable woman with a heart of gold, always putting others before herself. Her compassion and warmth touched everyone she met, and she had a special love for animals, especially greyhounds.

In 2020, Mark and his family adopted Sally from us here at Clark’s Farm. It was during this time that Jean and Sally formed an instant and unbreakable bond.

Sally was Mark’s first dog, and the love she shared with Jean, Mark and family was nothing short of extraordinary.

Sally, with her gentle nature was always by Jean’s side, carefully watching over her. Jean cherished every moment with Sally, and that love continues to shine through Sally to this day.

When we began seeking donations to renovate our kennels, Mark saw an opportunity to honor Jean’s memory in a way that truly reflected her spirit and her love for greyhounds.

His decision to donate in her name was the perfect gesture to commemorate Jean’s life and her deep bond with Sally.

In tribute to Jean and her incredible kindness, we have placed a plaque on our kennel to forever remember her. This plaque serves as a lasting reminder of her generosity and the positive impact she had on our hounds.

Thank you, Jean. You will always be remembered with love and gratitude here at Clark’s Farm💙

As some of you know, our beautiful long-term resident Ally went off to her forever home last week. We have received some heartwarming photos that we couldn’t wait to share with you all.

Most of you remember Ally from her special appeals and the struggles she faced in the kennels. Despite it all, she persevered, knowing that her perfect match was out there. Ally has truly landed on her paws with Beth, Bluebelle, and Suzie, and it's clear that she has found her perfect forever family.

Ally, Bluebelle, and Suzie make a stunning trio. They’ve been bonding beautifully, as you can see from the photos of them snuggled up on the bed together. Ally has made herself right at home, and it's evident that she was always meant to be with Beth and family!
