We couldn’t be more proud ❤️ Congratulations, Maria!
We are deeply saddened by the passing of Queen Elizabeth II. Our thoughts and condolences are with the Royal Family during this difficult time. Her Royal Highness led a remarkable life of public service and had an extraordinary impact on people around the world for 70 years.
A poignant quote that stood out to us from Queen Elizabeth: “We are all visitors to this time, this place. We are just passing through. Our purpose here is to observe, to learn, to grow, to love. And then we return home.”
She was exemplary in her leadership, dedication and service to the people of the United Kingdom and Commonwealth. Her legacy of commitment and inspiration will live on.

Today, we met up with Andy Reid MBE (), the Founder of the to discuss the importance and significance of the challenge for himself and the foundation.
Due to the current and the , Andy and his team have seen a dramatic increase in those needing help, and of course, they are there to help whoever needs it.
However, over the past few weeks the charity have seen a change: individuals and families are struggling to put food on the table, with one person brave enough to ask for money to buy a bottle of milk.
Please, if possible, get behind our fundraising efforts so the charity can continue to support those in the North West who need it most. Link to our page is in our bio!

Due to Covid we missed our 25th anniversary celebrations so some of the team at Roland Dransfield has decided to mark its quarter century by climbing the largest freestanding mountain in the world – Kilimanjaro – for an inspirational charity – – THIS OCTOBER!!
We’ll be doing the Tanzania challenge with Standing Tall founder and armed forces veteran, Andy Reid MBE (), who set up the foundation after he lost three limbs in service in Afghanistan.
The charity’s work lies within mental health support, homelessness and drug and alcohol addition and has helped hundreds of people in need since it was launched in 2020.
Andy’s an incredible role model for many people and his story has inspired us through our work with the personal injury team at JMW – so we decided to take on the challenge very last minute!
The medical team that supported Andy through his life-changing injuries will be making the journey to the summit with him and we are honoured to be part of this trip.
We won’t pretend that we’re not slightly terrified but given Andy’s absolute focus on getting to the top of that mountain we are right behind him!
Please help us to support the amazing work Andy does through The Foundation by considering sponsoring us as we mark our 25 years of Roland Dransfield.
Given the short amount of time we've got before leaving, we've already started fundraising by making our own contribution, so we would love it if you could help us towards our target of £25,000.
Thank you so much!

The above quote truly shows that Bev is not here to mess about. She's someone that all Mancunians could get on with on a personal level, but also someone with the drive and commitment to improving our city on a global level.

She grew up on a council estate just outside Belfast, and it wasn’t the kind of place where you’d be expected to move away and go to university. But as you’ll hear - Bev’s not the kind of person to be pigeonholed. She got involved in social justice campaigns at a young age through women’s and LGBTQ+ rights. Now leading , Bev is making sure that ALL people have places in which they feel safe and welcome, which has been right at the core of her political agenda throughout her career.
You’ll also hear about Bev’s plans for housing in Manchester, her thoughts on the government’s current proposal for the HS2 integration into Manchester Piccadilly, and you’ll get an insight into Bev’s thoughts on the past few weeks of turmoil in Westminster.
