Airtec Air Systems won the contract to supply Aston Martin a bespoke air knife system for blowing off debris and removing any static from the car bodies prior to painting.

This was part of a new line to tailor for customer bespoke colours and finishes on these beautiful cars.

Airtec Air Systems provided an Airknife Drying Tunnel to Link 51 – One of the leading suppliers of pallet racking and storage solutions in the UK.

Bespoke Airknife Drying Tunnel

Link approached us to design a bespoke airknife drying tunnel, as part of a linear production process for their pallet racking support steels.

The supports needed to be totally dry before the priming stage. An added complication was the pockets and profiles that made the product challenging from an airknife drying perspective.

Airtec are pleased to announce a range of the high speed (HV) series blowers. These are direct driven inverter controlled units. The inverter is a unique purpose built high speed unit capable of max inverter frequencies of 600hz.

The specially designed impeller offers a reduction in power consumption over older generation direct drive and belt driven blowers.

Our new 7.5kw high speed blower is equivalent to a competitors 11kw unit. This equates to a cost saving of over £1000.00 per year.

The Airtec high speed blower can be used for a wide variety of industrial applications. The operating curves are particularly well suited for high performance airknife applications.

A class leading 3 year warranty is provided with these blowers. Quality is exceptional with class leading components including ABB motors, NSK hybrid ceramic bearings, 316 grade stainless steel impellers. Airtec can also provide a return to base maintenance schedule with no costly replacement bearing housings as utilised on other models.
