Bassetlaw residents are experiencing superb savings on their energy bills!

Working alongside Bassetlaw District Council's initiative to upgrade housing EPC ratings on their social housing to help save residents money on their electricity bills, we've been installing solar PV.

Westville and Bassetlaw District Council recently visited Haggonfields Primary School in Rhodesia to discuss the hot topic of climate change and protecting our planet.
Following current work on the third phase of external wall insulation property renovations in their village, we thought it would be relevant to involve the children about how this work is helping save energy and protect the planet.
The day involved a presentation to Year groups 3, 4 and 5 on the environment and the effect of our insulation work, followed by a site tour to see the work in progress. Some of the children live in the homes we've insulated so could talk confidently about the difference it had made.
All the children then designed posters about protecting the planet, creatively visualising their perception, and two of these won lego sets. The wonderful posters are all proudly displayed on the school railings for everyone to see.

Jay Whalley, Glen Straw & Mark Evans were nominated for the installation of the Wetherby system, that maintained specific detailing to window heads & door heads that was a requirement of the planning officer.

Tracy Walkman was nominated for her exceptional management of new document requirements & her invaluable support in retrofit coordination compliance.

Rich Page & Toby Brown were recognised by EMH for their exceptional efforts in completing building preparation & reinstatement works ahead of schedule, to a standard that left our client more than satisfied.

Built shortly after the end of World War II, these houses were quickly constructed using the cast-iron panels salvaged from any surviving tanks to help combat the post-war housing crisis.

Working alongside and the division over the last 6 months, from the initial planning stages to the final ex*****on, we are proud of the passion and dedication that our team put into this project.
