One of our longest standing customers, this lady has been making the trip over from Wales for decades. Now in her 90's she continues to pick enough raspberries to keep a significant part of the north Wales population well stocked with raspberry jam.

We appreciate people making the effort to beat the road closures, the response from everyone has been fantastic and has helped rescue a potentially disastrous season.

Next set of the endless summer of road works has started. Please ignore all road closure signs, just drive round them. The road is only actually closed in the village of Woore, and if you drive through Woore to get to us then you will need to find an alternate route. Access from Stoke/Shrewsbury/Stafford directions open as usual, regardless of what signage may suggest. We have fields full of strawberries and an empty car park at the peak of our season. Please fight through the road closures if you can. Thank you.

It appears that Staffordshire and Shropshire councils are doing their best to put us out of business. There are road works scheduled for almost the entire duration of our season that will result in road closure signs from every direction. The farm will remain accessible but when trying to arrange appropriate signage we have faced obfuscation, dismissal and out right lies. Please do make the effort to come and visit us this season, and ignore any signs telling you the roads are closed. After over 50 years this could he our last season, and it will be our local councils that finish us off.
