RAFA Mirfield

We had a very successful day on the RAFA stall at Mirfield Show, yesterday. Thank you to all of the Branch members and supporters who gave their time to staff the stall and raise funds for both the RAFA Wings Appeal and the Branch. 😀👍

Come and see us at the Mirfield Show on Sunday 21st August. We have a stall on the main site where we will be selling RAFA Wings Appeal items, raising funds for the branch with some sweet treats and recruiting new members from Mirfield and the surrounding area.

All Branch Members are invited to the Official Opening Ceremony of Mirfield Branch of the Royal Air Forces Association.

We will be hosting The Lord Leuitenant of West Yorkhire who will be unveiling the new Branch Plaque.

Following the Opening ceremony there will be an afternoon / evening celebration with invited guests from other neighbouring Branches and Veterans Groups at the Old Colonial, where a hot supper will be available.

All Members and their partners are welcome to attend to mark this milestone in the reformation of the Branch.
