This👌 was a fun job !

“fairly vintage” road bike in for a full refurb, having not been ridden in over 20years!

Hence a complete strip, new chain & cassette, a few new bearings, fresh cables and pads.

Also two very useful upgrades.. binned the worn out old skinny as f**k 23c tyres for some 28c zafferos for a comfy ride, and a 11-28 cassette for easier climbs 👌

Such a cool old bike, and you can NEVER beat good old 853 😍

Perfect for a steelie ride! Tempted myself now 😊

Braking news! The Rokitworkshop is closed from tomorrow, Friday 29th, back open next Wednesday April the 3rd.

We have a long family wknd away, riding bikes in the mud, a steam train and hopefully some Canadian Kayaking. Hopefully oz the dog behaves himself.

I sense chaos. And will be glad to get back to work !
