Arts and crafts session today making beautiful flower displays to decorate the home with fir summer.

06.08.24 Pimp my Zimmer.
Today a few residents took part in Pimping their Zimmers. After deciding what theme they would like we decorated the zimmrs in activities. We ended up with a musical , Ballet and flowers/ Roses design which all look fantastic.
Pimping Zimmers helps residents identify their Zimmers, makes the frame look more interesting to use which in turn helps to reduce falls.

Chilli our pat dog enjoyed all the fuss and attention se recieved from staff and residents today. Such a therapeutic activity and lifts everyone's spirits when she visits us

Today we said goodbye to our lifestyle co ordinator Liam who has been working at Broadmead for 7 yrs. Residents an staff wished him well in his new job career and will look forward to seeing Liam occasionally who has remained as Bank staff here at Broadmead. Not goodbye but see you soon.

This afternoon we enjoyed getting together for a good old game of scrabble.

This afternoon we took part in a Homelife activity and made Fudge together which we will be trying tomorrow whilst watching a film In the morning

This morning residents were treated to a pamper morning and having their nails manicured whilst having a good old chat together

This morning we enjoyed having current affairs, catching up on the news and this afternoon we joined together for some rounds of Domino's in the lounge
