Our art man Dom, drunkenly staking claim to the can art. These poor participants must've been rather bemused, they look like they've taken it in good spirit. Well done them on completing the race

Our photo dump and weekend summary will follow in the next day or two but I wanted to share this 😜. After the shenanigans were finished at the brewery yesterday. Our very own art man and talented musician Dom (who incidentally played in different bands Fri, Sat and Sunday) hit the town, this is him accosting some The Start Fitness Blaydon Race participants to drunkenly tell them he designed the can art. Can't really tell from their expression whether they're impressed, amused or even bemused. Dom wasn't feeling too hot this morning 🤣

Unfortunately The King Bees - Newcastle can't play at Hadrian Border's 30th Birthday Beer Festival today due to illness, but we have a replacement sorted. The fantastic Kev McNestry has stepped in to keep you entertained from 4pm - 6pm 🍻

We're proud to be sponsoring the iconic The Start Fitness Blaydon Race once again. The finisher's beer has just been dropped off for some much needed rehydration for the runners. Good luck to everyone taking part! 🎽👟🍻

Like cricket, particularly like ladies cricket, then make your way over to Corbridge Cricket Club where the sun is not shining but it is warm and there's prosecco and beer

We have the first women’s softball festival of the season today at Corbridge cricket club. We have 8 teams playing: Matfen, Tynemouth, Benwell and Walbottle, Bates, South North, Seaton Burn, Stocksfield and Corbridge. The sun is supposed to be coming out if you fancy coming to watch.

There’s lots of cake so everyone will get cake but which team will take away the medals for winning 🥇 🏏🙂
