** Cooley Coast Run 2024 – Medal Reveal !!! **
This years medal is yet another collectors item! The medal depicts Cuchulainn launching the G*e Bolg, his ultimate spear, in his battle with Ferdia that went on for many days. It was ended by this throw. In the background are the Cooley mountains & Maebhdhs gap. This fantastic design was a collaboration between Ciaran Gormley, Michael Stafford and Evanna McCann.
Please note that race numbers are limited to a maximum of 400 entrants, so please register asap to ensure you don't miss out!!
The 2024 Cooley Coast Run will take place on Saturday 18th May at 11am. As usual there will be a 10k race and a 5k.

These have to be some of the nicest cups we have done here in AB Trophies Warrenpoint hope VC Glendale have a great weekend and the winners enjoy the cups.

We like our new finishers medal so much, we thought we'd share another picture with you 😍
The medal was designed by our own Ciaran Gormley and Geraldine Martin from Creative Spark, and supplied by Alan Bingham from AB Trophies Warrenpoint
It depicts the great Celtic warrior Cuchulainn, running with shield in hand. The shield has the paw print of the wolfhound that he slayed. In the background are the legendary Cooley mountains.
The medal was designed to encapsulate the myth and legend of our beautiful peninsula. It also reflects the fighting spirit that is required to be an athlete and the determination to bravely face lifes challenges.
The 2023 Cooley Coast Run will take place on Saturday 20th May at 11am.
