Handmade ceramics from our home studio, hand crafted from stoneware clay, fired in our kiln, hand glazed and fired again.
Handmade ceramics from our home studio in Devon using stoneware clay, hand glazed and fired in our electric kiln.
Fun new project work in progress. I was contacted to do a commission piece after a customer saw one of my crescent moon bonsai pots. This great project was to make a larger one without drainage holes for carnivorous plants in a black clay.
I made a form to get the basic shape and then hand textured and carved the surface to look like rock and adding small feet to get the result shown.
To many people this is just a boring picture of some bags of clay. But to me it’s possibilities, it’s exciting. I am working on a number of fun projects pictures coming soon.
Who else gets excited over a clay delivery?
Last few items for Halloween 🎃 👻 now on Etsy.
