What have you done today to make the world more beautiful?

As I planted out my tiny lupin seedlings (can you spot the baby lupin?!) I was reminded of my favourite quote from Miss Rumphius' Grandfather. It's so simplistic but also so powerful, I like the gentle reminder that simple shifts in our daily routines can impact the world so greatly. It doesn't have to be big and overwhelming: share some produce with a friend, make someone a cup of tea, buy from a small sustainable business or plant a seed, like the lupin lady. Hit me up with how you made a small part of the world smile today.

Do you have a favourite space that you find yourself drawn to? Somewhere where you can sit and observe nature and the passing seasons? It could be in a spot in your local park, deep in the wilderness of a woodland or the view from a favourite window.
I've just started exploring the philosophy around finding a , a special space in nature that you are drawn to returning to on a regular basis. Finding a and committing to the habitual process of visiting the site throughout the seasons can enhance our ability to observe patterns through all aspects of the outdoors and even in every day life.
I found myself in this beautiful today. The meadow forms part of agricultural land that as part of a (linking the environment and farming) initiative has been left to its own wild devises and it was absolutely beautiful. Maybe this space will become my because I'm so intrigued to see what types of insects, birds and animals chose to make it their home.

How many critters can you make from foraged sticks?

Growing our own food π©βπΎ reminded me that it's π± this week, we've spent day 3 of tidying our very large (measurements got lost in translation π) vegetable patch.
We're enthusiastic but amateur gardeners, the girls love to get involved. Do you grow anything at home with your children? Maybe you have a growing area or an allotment? I've always wanted and allotment, I think there something motivating about growing produce in a shared space; sharing and learning together.

Weβre in the woods and weβve enjoyed watching the sunshine dancing through the trees, hearing distance thunder, tasting the rain, smelling the damp ground and touching the bark of the trees π²
