Aside from having a brain fart and thinking using red and yellow for gryffindor was a good idea - I’m happy with how these turned out!

Gryffindor - SHERBET LEMON! - As gorgeous smelling as the sweets loved by dumbledore himself!

Hufflepuff - UNICORN BLOOD! - A strangely sweet and natural scent not unlike the purity of a unicorn! (A rich, musky floral fragrance with top notes of violet supported by notes of rose, lily and jasmine, resting on a base of powdery musks and precious woods.)

Ravenclaw - FELIX FELICIS - Liquid luck. Smells like all of your favourite things! (An earthy scent combining notes of fresh spice and clean citrus, warm violet hinted with leather, and supported by precious woods, moss, and amber musk.)

Slytherin - THE FORBIDDEN FOREST - A natural woodland scent to take you right into the lair of the centaurs (because it isn’t always spiders Ronald!)

Back in September I posted saying that orders would be delayed for the foreseeable future due to our baby arriving at 25 weeks. The past few months has been a complete whirlwind of emotions and shortly after Christmas I closed the website to orders while things settled down.

I’m delighted to announce that our little one came home at the end of February!

I’ve just reopened the website to orders and I want to sincerely thank you all for your patience and understanding over the past few months.

15 weeks so far and little one has passed his due date 🤞 hopefully everything can settle down and return to some form of normality over the next few months!

Little one is being transferred 90 miles away (again) for surgery (again) so I’ll be a little too far away to just nip back and sort it.

Advent day 12 - Snowberry and Mistletoe

Ooh i love it

Truly love it!! I’m seriously deciding if I want to keep a few of these in for my permanent seasonal selection or not!

Scent description - A herbal accord opening with citrus, red berries, blackcurrant and apple supported by green mistletoe and pine leading into a heart of lily and jasmin resting on a base of precious woods, amber, patchouli and moss

13 - Mince Pie and Brandy - not my favourite if I’m honest BUT I’m not a big mince pie lover anyway!
My best advice would be don’t use it to mask your partners farts 🤢 it ended up amplifying both and the room smelled like ass for ages after, without the fart it’s not too bad though!

Scent description - A warm Christmas fragrance with raisins, figs, sultanas, and apples enriched with ground cinnamon, almonds and a hint of orange peel steeped in hot intoxicating brandy.

14 - Mistletoe and Floral Creation
Currently melting away but it’s a strong fresh fragrance ! If you love laundry smells it’s spot on, I tried to make sure the advent had something for everybody 💜

Scent description- Similar to a wash stuff! Crisp green accords topped with sweet apple and pear interweaves with a floral heart of white jasmine, neroli flower and cyclamen. Fresh clean aldehydes form the base with sensuous musk and a hint of vanilla. Top note – Green, pear, apple Middle note – Jasmine, green floral accords, neroli, cyclamen, Base note- Aldehydes, vanilla, musk

I was going to just update on the elves but we entered the parents room earlier and came across this

I’ll be honest
I cried reading the poem. While our little one shouldn’t have arrived until January - spending Christmas in hospital is tough 🥺

How lovely is this though!! A little box of goodies for the staff and parents in the NICU from Octopus for a Preemie UK 🥺

Such a sweet and lovely idea 🥰 I really hope the hospital pins that poem somewhere!!

Also picture of little bean snuggling his octopus after brain surgery (October) 🥺 this charity make those for preemies - it’s supposed to replicate the umbilical cord and stop babies so willingly removing all of the tubes etc keeping them alive 🙈 it doesn’t always work but sometimes!

Or you’ll be hit with an octopus - either way 😅

Advent day 10 - winterize

But I forgot to get a photo of it melting 🙊

Scent description ⤵️⤵️

Snowflakes falling, pine trees glistening and Jack Frost nipping at your nose. This is the fresh smell of a crisp cold winter day

Smells too much like milk for my nose at the moment 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Advent day 9- Christmas Fizz

Oh I love it! I really love it

Reminds me of the tangerine smell at the bottom of your stocking as a kid? Beautiful but not too overpowering 🤤

Nobody seems to know! I expect they’ll turn up tomorrow / Tuesday with it being the weekend I think the family care team are moving them about more than the nurses 🙈

Advent Day 8 - woodsmoke and leather

Not one of my favourites if I’m honest but I tend to prefer my fruity / unusual scents ! (Black cherry. Healing woods. Lemon sherbet. Pineapple twist!)

I’ve also successfully stressed myself out by losing half of the documentation required for my self assessment! 😩 I am such a prat sometimes !

Now having to pay for the privilege of an email restore just so I can triple check everything is correct 🙄 such an idiot 🙈 I’ll try my best not to do this again in a hurry 🤣🤣

I’ve got it all printed but between moving and being at the hospital I can’t access that either 🤣

Day 7 - Mint chocolate 🤤 10/10 if you haven’t had this before I do recommend it! Just don’t recommend accidentally wiping your email account 🙈

Yesterday’s melt 🙈 day 6 - Cherry Almond

I quite like this one but it’s not quite the fragrance I was going for

I was thinking more amaretto than Bakewell tart 🤷‍♀️

It is hard to really appreciate how tiny micro-preemies are.

Day 5! Cranberry & Orange spice

Oooh I love it 🤤 still unsure of yesterday’s but this one is gorgeous !

I promise I’ll hunt for Nic again in a couple of hours 🙊 I honestly don’t know where he is today 🤣

I mean. Sugared pecan 🤣 oh boy I did an amazing job decorating this little guy 🙈🤣🤣
