Hello all we are now in the position to start donating some more tanks and fish!

Please send us a message if you would like one set up, we set people up with tanks and fish for people that are struggling with mental health and PTSD. If you know someone that you feel could benefit from a tank, please leave a comment or a message saying who and why and we can contact you.

It brings us so much joy knowing we are helping people fish are so calming and relaxing to watch and they give so much comfort I can agree from personal experience, it also brings us so much peace knowing we are doing this also for our uncle/brother John carrying on his hard work in his memory 🥰

Morning Everyone, Here at John's Fish Rehoming we've decided too add some opening and closing hours too the page.

From today onwards we will open the page up at 9am and close the page at 4pm Monday - Saturday 🥰
Any messages sent before 9am or sent after 4pm won't be answered until the next morning, thankyou all for being so understanding and the continued support 🤍

Today we have been and finished another tank set up we set up the tank last week and and today we re-Homed some of the donated fish into their forever home for a lady that have been through a lot and lives alone.
We hope this beautiful set up brings you joy and peace and also keep you company 🥰

As a group we have checked our inventory and we are very low on equipment like heaters, filters and air pumps we are also low on decorations so plants and ornaments if anyone needs to re-home we would happily appreciate them 🥰

Today we done our first tank set up and fish rehoming in honour of johns legacy.
Couldn’t of gone to a nicer gentleman who’s been through a lot in their lifetime. We as a family hope that they bring you joy peace and comfort when you need it the most🥰
A donated tank and equipment and some donated danios and swordtails have settled in their new home.
It was our pleasure to do this and has brought us so much happiness to be able to brighten up someone else’s day and life 😊

Hello all,
We just wanted to take a moment to say thank you to everyone who have messaged and tagged us in posts for the page, we appreciate it all very much.

Also we wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone that have dontated to us! All of the fish , tanks and equipment we can’t wait to start rehoming and helping people 🥰we are doing inventory check this week so we can start arranging rehoming.

Johns fish rehoming page is in need of donations if anyone has anything from fish to equip that they are willing to donate we are more than willing to take them and donate them on further to carry on the good work John started.
We are able to collect if in or around norwich many thank yous from johns family.

Just to update all of johns well earned followers.
He had a lovely send off and is finally at peace.

Johns niece here Kimberley.
We will be resuming to duties after johns funeral.
We hope to continue his hard work and help people in need.
Even if it’s just a chat because you’re feeling low. We are happy to help.
We would like to help others like John would of.
His fishing page was what kept him busy and helping people made him feel happy even when he was struggling himself. So even If we can help someone through a bad day it would make ours brighter. ❤️

Ok as you know John sadly passed away on Monday, his page John’s fish rehoming was going to be closed down but his family have agreed they will keep it open and carry on his work in his name. His wife Dawn will be taking a step back and I Erin (his aunt ) will be doing the admin side of things and all his family will be helping out and doing the work that John set out to do and keeping his memory alive. Thank you everyone. So carrying on share Johns page in memory of him.

Due to the unexpected passing of John I am totally unprepared financially for paying the costs of a funeral. The cost is around £3500 and I am appealing to everyone to please donate a little if you can or if not share and spread this far and wide so I can give John the funeral he deserves after working so selflessly to help others.

Hello all this is John's wife Dawn. I didn't ever think I would have to write this post but after a very brief hospital stay John has passed away. Unfortunately I will be unable to continue with John's fish rehoming and apologise to those that have recently been in contact.

Today we donated a full tank setup and fish to the lovely Lazarus, such a sweet boy. Enjoy your tank and fish little dude 😊

Here at John's fish rehoming we would also like to share that we would also like to rehome fish and tanks to children with disabilities and children with autism, adhd or any sensory disorders. We have found that fishtanks are calming and also stimulating to children and again we provide ongoing support and teach the children the correct way to keep fish. If you would like to be considered for this then pop us a message or if you would like to nominate someone deserving again pop us a message

Today we went and picked up some goldfish from the pond of the lovely Amy. Thankyou very much. They are already in their new home!

Tuesday night we went and picked up some fish which have been donated by Jack seymour. Thankyou very much!

On Sunday we went to pick up a tank and stand which was donated by the lovely Russ, thankyou very much!

On Saturday we donated a tank, accessories and fish to an 8 year old autistic girl. She was over the moon. She picked out all the plants and the decorations for her tank.
