Hello you lovely bunch, you have mainly seen me bang on about yoga and movement here. However, my vision is much greater than just getting you all on your yoga mats. Although that is part of it for sure 😁
I aim to inspire and support others to take back control of there health through movement, nutrition and personalised health coaching.
Prevention is the best medicine.
When I injured my back I searched everywhere for someone to help motivate me, keep me accountable and offer guidance, knowledge and support to reach the healthy version of myself I so longed for but didn’t know how to achieve. I had nutrition and mobility goals that seemed so far away and took a lot of self motivation and patience to achieve, I wish I’d had someone to help me with that journey.
So here we are three years later and an every growing fountain of knowledge on all things mobility, nutrition and coaching!
By creating healthy habits that are right for you can help you to live better for longer, and having a coach to help support you can have a profound impact on achieving that vision.
We are currently living longer but in poorer health, why not optimise your health whilst you can or take back control of a chronic condition or even improve it through the right lifestyle tweaks.
So, on that note, I am giving you all the opportunity to work with me. I need 5 volunteers to take part in a 4-6 week programme as part of my Health coaching diploma.
We will look at health goals, habit changes, as well as what good health looks and feels like to you. I use my experience & knowledge surrounding nutrition, preventative medicine, mobility and behaviour change techniques to support your lifestyle. DM me for more details!

“I’m not flexible enough to do yoga”
I hear this time and time again from people.
Yoga is not about flexibility it’s about listening to the body, not judging it but appreciating what it can do and practicing presence of moment.
I’m also not naturally flexible ~ partially why I injured my back, that along with very little core strength! Any flexibility I have or strength I worked at pretty damn hard, but it all came about through yoga.
I don’t lift weights I just have my own practice- this practice may look different day to day or week to week, but the key is consistency! Try it, even if it’s for 10 mins
FYI I’m still not particularly flexible but I am strong ~ Yoga has shown me physical and mental strength and resilience especially the practice of Ashtanga😁✨

Sometimes we forget to appreciate the everyday wonders. The way the rain falls, the changing seasons, how our bodies move… by encouraging a feeling of awe and wonder into our everyday lives we can tap into that feeling of gratitude and an overall appreciation and connection to ourselves, to others and to the world around us. Happiness has been linked to the feeling of awe. I challenge you to give it a go 🙃
I have lived with sciatic pain every day for over two years now. it’s a constant reminder as to how fragile we are and how lucky It is to have a body that can still do so much. Don’t waste time thinking about what you should be doing, think about what it’ll feel like once you get up and do it.
Sciatic Pain can occur at any age. Years lived in good health are a privilege. Finding strategies to manage and prevent pain or Illness are the best way to look after your future self.
Reverse warrior ⛰️ Yoga can be grounding no matter where you are. Just grab a mat and find a space.

Ever just take a moment to just appreciate the biomechanics of your feet?
Most people are born with perfect feet. By age 20 80% of those “perfect feet” have developed some type of imbalance.
One small imbalance, one slight lean to one side when you walk. Without mindful recognition your walking style could be leading you down a path of injury later on in life.
Pain may show up in other areas preventing you from recognising the link. Sciatica, back pain, knee or ankle pain all being relevant signs telling you there’s an imbalance.
Without realising it, the sole root (excuse the pun) could be your walking/standing stance.
Your feet are your roots take a moment to see how they ground you. Being mindful now whilst your fit and well can help prevent future musculoskeletal wear and tear.

One of the greatest joys in life is movement. One of the greatest tragedies is losing it.
