My "fleet" of new wax pots. 😍
Happy Christmas and thank you for another year of d-hairing the people of Norfolk😄 I've got a couple of appointments spare next week, but then nothing until February.
See you next year🤗.
I've had a few people get in contact about the difference in hair cream removal and waxing so thought I'd clarify for anyone interested.
Hair cream remover is not a professional treatment as it can be brought from any pharmacy or supermarket and applied to yourself. It's very easy to do, just follow the instructions on the package and see how you get on. The chemicals in the cream basically melt the hairs they are applied to and you then wipe them off. This is pain-free as long as your skin is not sensitive with what is a very strong chemical ( lots of people find it uncomfortable on the skin, making it sore, while leaving lots of unwanted hairs in place). The hair is "melted" at skin level, leaving a broken hair to continue growing through over the next few days. This hair will quickly feel stubbly over, which can feel irrating.
Waxing can be carried out on yourself at home, but is difficult to do on yourself well, so this is why most people come to a professional waxer to get it done. As a qualified waxer I am able to buy top quality waxing products, that make the process quick, thorough, but cares for your skin at the same time. Yes it will be slightly uncomfortable, but the hair will be pulled out at the root. The hair will then take a few weeks to regrow and will have a soft tappered end to it.
Hope this helps.
Winston and Maggie.
Muur from Walkies Norwich is taking them out twice a week to help out with walks. She's seen a big improvement in just the 2 weeks she's been seeing them!
At the moment we are fostering brother and sister Springer Spaniels, Maggie and Winston. It would be lovely to rehome them together, and they are just about ready to find their forever homes. They are a little underweight, but we're feeding them up, which they are thoroughly enjoyjng😃. For more information visit

I've talked alot about the lovely springer we are fostering at the moment and here he is!
He's a gorgeous boy and is now ready to be adopted to his forever home. If you'd like more information it's on this page.
I've put some links to more photos and a video from the charity website.

I have two appointments available tomorrow, either 10.45 or 1.30. Let me know if you'd like one.
I'm not working my usual days at the end of the half term, so will be working Monday 13th February and Tuesday 14th instead. I have quite a few appointments still available, so let me know if you'd like one. I'll be open 9.30- 6ish both days.😊
See you soon.
I'm now closed for Christmas 🎄. I'm open on Wednesday and Thursday between Christmas and New year and still have the odd appointment spare if needed.
A little update as to when I'm starting laser hair removal. After a bit more investigating, I've decided not to go ahead with it after all! Its a great treatment, but for various reasons I don't think its for me. I loved doing the training though and it was a good reminder that I still enjoy waxing. If you are still wanting laser hair removal I've personally tried a big company locally and can give you my opinion.
Look forward to seeing you soon

Have you ever thought about having laser hair reduction ( around 90%-95% less hair)? I'm sometimes asked about it, but haven't seriously considered training in it until recently. It would mean a large investment, so I'd love to hear your thoughts? So would you:
- consider having it done?
- have had it done already?
- be interested in hearing more?
Thanks for any of your thoughts or ideas.
This is Bert who we've been looking after until he finds his long term family. He's recovered from being neutered and is ready for the rural life. He's a gorgeous boy and it'll be hard to see him go.
Let me know if you'd like it.
Ever wondered what my wax looks like?
Its so lovely to work with and is cool enough to feel comfortable, even on delicate areas.
...a gig?!.....😱
Just a reminder of my opening times. See you soon.
This popped up for me in my memories. 8 years ago today. I wonder how many kg's of wax and tonnes of p***c hair I've got through in that time😂.
I was reminded of this John Bishop waxing moment by a client today. I found it on YouTube and thought you might enjoy it as much as i did🤣

Quick job adding a bit more strip wax to the pot, 45 minutes later I was still scrubbing😳 and my jumpers gone in the bin!
