Even when librarians have a day off from all things books and go to a gig, they’re never far away from libraries and their influence 😅

(The three staff members who went had a lovely time in the sunshine yesterday, thank you)

Here’s to libraries and all that they do!

The musicians of The Lucky Dog Picturehouse take over King's Lynn for some super special screenings!📽

It's 'Lights, Camera, Action!' for a special family show!
ACTION! The (not so silent) Silent Movie Show! is a treat for all ages, with h***y horns and hilarity with cartoons and comedies from over 100 years ago!

It will be a trip to the cinema like no other; with live accompaniment and a behind-the-scenes look at some of the bizarre and bonkers musical instruments that bring film to life.😲

As well as - The Lucky Dog Picturehouse presents a centenary screening of one of the first real adventures to be captured on camera 🗻

The Epic of Everest is the official record of the fateful 1924 expedition as they attempted to reach the summit. This is the very earliest footage of the Himalayas and beautifully captures its untouched landscape in colour (tinted) film and is a sight to see.
