Today I'm going to share - My Story with IBS
Diagnosing and treating Irritable Bowel Syndrome can be a long and difficult journey. For me, it started with endless trips to the doctor accompanied by loads of tests, all of which showed okay results. The doctors told me that since there wasn’t anything else wrong with me, I must have IBS. Desperate to find relief, I took whatever medications they gave me hoping they would help but there was little improvement. Anxiety soon took over my life as I had no idea what symptoms I would suffer each day and I felt powerless to control them. Then one day someone mentioned Kinesiology to me as a possible treatment; despite being incredibly sceptical I decided to give it a try because what did I have to lose? Thankfully, it worked! Now all my symptoms are gone and, thanks to Kinesiology, I am back in control of my own life again.

We become versatile. We develop in that way, we might gain other skills from trying to do that thing that we're trying to achieve and it makes us a more rounded person."

Feel like you’re actually going to cr*p your pants sometimes?
What if you could eat whatever you wanted without consequence? What if you didn’t have to pre-plan all your meals for fear of a major reaction? What if you could live and eat freely with a calm gut that just does it’s f*cking job? How does all this sound? Good? Desired?
Well, good news! I can help you with all of that!
I’ve been there… not knowing what to eat, when to eat, if I’ll react, how bad I’ll react and all the rest!...
I’m here to say, it doesn’t have to be that way. You don’t have to live like that. It’s horrid, I know.
I work to get you to a place where you feel NORMAL. To get your digestive system and elimination system working effectively so that you can enjoy a meal out with your friends without fear of an embarrassing 30 minutes in the loo…or wondering if you had a secret baby growing inside you for 8 months…then wondering if you’re waistband is going to snap when you go to sit back down…
If you would like to have a healthy and balanced gut with no issues then reach out so we can discuss how I can help you get back on track.

How are you? I do genuinely love hearing about how things are, the good, the bad and everything in between. Sometimes it's nice just to offload to someone else without having to filter yourself. For someone to listen to you without fear of judgement, wondering if you're saying the "right" thing or if you're coming across as a crazy person.
In my 8 years of doing this, I haven't come across someone who I would label as "crazy". Because, at the end of the day, as we drill down, you realise that there's a reason someone is going through that particular emotion, there's a reason why you feel like life is out of control at that moment, there's a reason why you feel like you're stuck and can't find a way out.
And that reason is you have blockages. We all do. So don't worry, you aren't alone there. And it's those blockages that have caused you to feel the way you do, either mentally or physically or both. So, in order for you to feel better, we have to clear those blockages. And that's what I do. Plain and simple. Clear blockages then you get better. Sorted. Sounds easy, right? Well, it is!
Feeling good and getting better doesn't always have to be difficult. And because of the way I work, you don't have to be the one to know what's wrong. You just have to show up. That's all. Your body will completely guide us as to what needs to be done for you to feel better. And then we do it! Easy peasy. Sound good? Right, well, let's crack on then!

How Meditation Helps Us To Find Inner Peace
Meditation can be a powerful tool for finding inner peace. Through meditation, we can access a deep inner stillness, allowing us to gain clarity and insight into what’s really going on from the inside out. By quieting the mind and learning to observe without judgment or attachment, we create space for a profound understanding of ourselves as both unique individuals and part of a larger, connected universe.
With meditation comes a newfound sense of relaxation and stillness that allows us to be free from stress and anxiety. We are able to explore our deepest selves, gain an understanding of who we are on a greater level and find true serenity. Meditation helps us live a more balanced life; where moments of stillness become immensely valuable. When we take the time to meditate, it gives us the opportunity to demonstrate gratitude for the here and now, creating resilience within ourselves caring deeply for own mental health and wellbeing.
This connection allows our behaviour to become driven by heart-centred joy, instead of fear-based insecurity or ego—providing opportunities for both personal development and growth in relationships with those around us. In this way, meditation brings us closer to that ever-elusive feeling of peace within—helping us live more present and fulfilled lives.

Exercise 2: Establishing Accountability
The second exercise for this module is to create an accountability system for reaching goals. This could be something like creating a physical or digital calendar with reminders set for when certain tasks need to be completed or milestones achieved. It could also involve enlisting the support of family and friends who can help motivate and hold you accountable to the commitments you make in pursuing your dreams. Doing so can help ensure that goals remain top of mind and are not neglected due to procrastination or lack of follow through.

Failure doesn't have to be feared—it can actually be used as an opportunity for growth and learning! By taking time to reflect, looking for opportunities in adversity, and being kinder to ourselves, we can use failure as a stepping stone instead of seeing it as a roadblock. So next time failure comes knocking at your door, remember that there's always something positive waiting on the other side!
Read the blog to harness your failure into powerful growth:

Did you know that the weather and daylight can have a powerful effect on your health? Cold weather can increase blood pressure and may worsen asthma symptoms. On the other hand, hot weather can cause dehydration and heat stroke. These changes in the environment can impact our energy system, which may lead to physical and mental health issues.
Kinesiology testing can help detect if the weather is negatively affecting your health. Through corrections that strengthen your body, you'll be more resilient against any future impact from the weather. The right amount of daylight has many positive effects on our health - regulating sleep cycles, improving moods, and boosting energy levels are just a few of them.
It's inspiring to know how we can take proactive steps towards a healthy life – why not give it a try?
Exercise 2: Questions that help explore self-acceptance in relationships.
What does self-acceptance mean in your personal relationships? How does an attitude of self-acceptance influence the way you interact with others? Do you feel more connected when you accept yourself fully within your relationships? How do you show acceptance for the other person in your relationship?

There are ways to get through a tough day
No one knows what life may bring from one day to another, and it can be tough when we’re facing difficult times. It’s true that sometimes the best thing is just to ride out the storm, but there are others times when we need more active solutions. There are always ways to power through. Fortunately, there are tools and methods for getting ourselves through a tough day in a healthy way.
These can include mindfulness practices like taking some deep breaths or counting to 10, connecting with loved ones who can provide support and understanding, eating something nourishing and energizing, or taking more time for some self-care activities like going for a walk or indulging in a long hot bath. As much as it might feel hard at first, these actions can help us build up our energy and courage so that although the day might still be difficult, we can make it through feeling stronger than when we started.
Benefits of developing a daily routine
Establishing a daily routine may seem like a drag, but in reality it is incredibly beneficial for your life. Developing a routine provides structure and consistency to our lives, allowing us to feel more secure and in control. Having set activities every day can help reduce stress levels as we have an idea of what to expect throughout the day. Additionally, by establishing a daily routine you are more likely to achieve repeated success since you will have dedicated time slots with predetermined goals and tasks that need to be accomplished. Incorporating positive practices such as reading, exercise, or meditation into your daily schedule not only brings increased focus but also improved mental and physical energy. With practice, over time you’ll find that keeping to your routine will ultimately bring you joy and empowerment.

Setting measurable goals is key to achieving success and assessment of results helps us review our progress and further our growth. Taking the time after reaching a goal, or interval of time, to carefully analyse results is an important component of success. Adjustments can be made in order to reach new heights and attain greater levels of accomplishment. Setting a plan for a future evaluation can help keep focused on the desired outcome and provide clarity in what needs to be done. It is essential to have an actionable outlook when assessing results – such evaluations encourage future commitments by maintaining motivation and fostering an attitude of excellence. Ultimately, taking short periods of time to review successes or failures is a great way to propel yourself forward into your next challenge!

Did you know that Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) is a chronic disorder affecting the large intestine? Common symptoms of IBS include abdominal pain or discomfort, bloating, constipation and/or diarrhoea. Living with IBS can be challenging but did you know there are proactive steps that you can take to improve your overall wellbeing and reduce the symptoms of IBS?
Kinesiology has proven to be an effective treatment for some people with IBS, while dietary modifications have also been shown to be beneficial in managing symptoms. Keeping a food diary or starting an elimination diet can help identify which foods trigger adverse reactions in your body. Additionally, lifestyle changes such as yoga and exercise have been linked to reducing stress levels, thereby improving IBS-related flare ups - so why not give it a try?
Take the initiative and make positive changes today!
Exercise 3: Reflect on how you tend to react in different situations – are your reactions based on what other people expect of you or from how you naturally feel? How can this behaviour affect relationships?

2. Set clear boundaries between yourself and others regarding what types of tasks/projects/commitments are acceptable within a given timeframe – make sure these are communicated effectively too! This could include saying “no” more often when appropriate; not taking on too much responsibility alone; asking for help from others if necessary; delegating tasks appropriately; taking breaks whenever needed etc.

B. Reframing Difficult Experiences to Gain a More Positive Perspective
Start by looking back at a difficult experience you had, making sure to select one that you have already gone through and are not currently facing. Write down the details of the experience and what emotions you felt in response to it.
Next, look for any silver linings or small victories that may have come out of this difficult experience. Did you learn anything? Did it lead to something else later on in life that was positive? Did it help shape your character or give you a greater sense of resilience?
Once you’ve identified these silver linings, take some time to reflect on them and remind yourself that the difficult experience served a purpose and was part of your growth journey. Try writing down 3-5 sentences about how this experience ultimately ended up being beneficial for you.
Finally, complete the process by re-framing your thoughts into more positive statements about the situation. This could be as simple as changing “I made a mistake” into “I learned from this experience” or “I am too weak” into “This was a challenging situation but I persevered”. Don’t forget to focus on empowering language such as “I choose”, “I decide” or “I can”. Doing so will help shift your perspective from negative to neutral or even positive, depending on your level of comfort with making such changes.
This exercise is designed to help change the way we think about our past experiences and create hope for overcoming future challenges. Remember that challenging times can often lead us towards personal growth, so don’t hesitate to seize new opportunities while learning from past experiences along the way!

Exercise 1: Brainstorming – In this exercise, you will be asked to brainstorm a list of their goals & desires around wealth & success. You can think about areas such as career, relationships, finances etc., and list out what you want to accomplish in each area. Once the brainstorming is complete, you can prioritize your list and develop actionable steps for each goal.

Exercise 3: Challenging Negative Thoughts
One way to challenge negative thinking patterns is by using problem solving strategies such as brainstorming potential solutions, gathering evidence that refutes the thought and questioning if the thought is rational or logical. For instance, if someone has an all-or-nothing type of thought about themselves such as “I’m a total failure” then engaging in problem solving might look like coming up with specific instances where they were successful and noting how those successes refute the all-or-nothing statement they made about themselves. Another way to challenge negative thinking patterns is by practicing self-compassion, which involves being kind, gentle and understanding with ourselves when we experience difficult emotions or difficult circumstances. Self-compassion helps us understand that experiencing difficulty doesn’t mean we’re failures; it simply means we’re human who have flaws like everyone else.

Mapping out your schedule for the day, week, and month doesn’t have to be a dreary task. Instead of simply seeing it as something to add in order to stay organized and reach goals, look at it as an opportunity! It’s a chance to decide how you want each day and week to look, giving yourself the opportunity to inject intentionality and purpose into all that you do. Acting with a greater sense of control and vision can be key when it comes to achieving success. So go ahead – map out your days, weeks, and months with confidence, knowing that whichever path you choose will bring you closer towards your desired outcomes!

Exercise 1: Limiting Beliefs Reframing. Taking out a piece of paper, ask yourself: “What are some of my limiting beliefs around money and abundance?” Write down any negative thoughts that come to mind. Once you have written down all the beliefs, look at them and find evidence and facts that refute these beliefs. Rewrite the same beliefs in a positive light. For example, if you wrote “I will never be able to make enough money”, now reframe it as “I have the potential to make an abundant amount of money”.
