Don't Play It Small.

Ask anyone around you know, "Do you want to be average?"

You might get a straight "No, obviously not."

But you might get, "Well, I don't know how NOT to be average."

Now that second one is a camp a lot of people fall into.

Believing that they don't have anything to offer.

They don't have any big goals to chase after.

They're almost scared to think about becoming a top 5% person.

Many of my clients have come to me with "big goals."

But they ended up achieving goals that weren't too far out of reach.

They were playing small.

Playing small might get you where you THINK you want to be.

But it won't get to where you really want to be.

You're capable of more than you know.

You're capable of reaching outrageous goals - have a flat-toned stomach, fit into old jeans, and have the confidence to wear anything!

Ruchika did it.
She was just like you once…

She came to not sure what was possible for her.

Ruchika was training and dieting all her life, but without the results she wanted.

She was stuck and felt low because of this.

Now she constantly talks about the future, and how much she believes that it’s possible for her to achieve a fit, toned body shape. Shape she once thought would be out of reach for her.

It’s Only a Problem If It’s a Problem…

I once had a mate who had a Great Dane… It’s humongous 😀

It slept in his bed with him. They both loved it.

He’d spoken to a dog behaviourist and various vets, who all told him that the dog should have its own bed…

But both he and his dog loved the arrangement, so it wasn’t an issue…

It wasn’t a problem because it wasn’t a problem.

I see the same kind of thing in my high-achieving clients…

Everyone tells them that they work too hard and warns them about burnout…

But I have a theory…

If your (hard) work gives you nothing but positives…

Then you’re NOT actually working too hard…

Your work level is exactly where it should be.

It’s only a problem if it's causing friction.

I guess you could say it’s become negative when it stops being FUN.

It’s tedious….

So, when everyone is telling you that you need to slow down…

Take a break, have a holiday, grab a few days off…

Really stop and consider if that is what you ACTUALLY need…

Apply the “fun” test…

How my client Tim went from being overtrained and thinking about stopping training altogether to being energized, best shape in years, and quitting thyroid medication altogether.

Tim is a hardworking man who owns his own IT company. He likes to pursue his hobby in his free time - training in the gym and improving his body shape and health.

Since he was a kid, he has been doing different sports. So working hard and consistently was never an issue for him.

For the last 5 years, Tim has seen a decline in his physique, which he tried to compensate for by training even more.

Excess training affected his joints and tendons.

Besides that, he always felt a constant need to have a nap.

Tim thought he knew his body best, and that's why no one could help to progress. And he thought it was his genetics and age that held him back from progressing.

Eventually, he got to the point he was exhausted mentally and physically, thinking - either he seeks help or quit it altogether.

The first thing we did with Tim was a holistic assessment of his current situation and lifestyle, including a blood test for more granular insights.

Imidedially I detected where Tim was going wrong and why he didn't see the results he wants to see.

We built a training plan that helped him improve his energy levels, health and finally change his physique.
And it all was done by him exercising less and having a more intelligent, more time-efficient plan.

Through the years, absorbing misinformation, Tim got to the point where he was demonizing things like carbohydrates.

This led to living a restrictive diet life and depleting his body from macro nutrition he needed to start to progress with his physique and restore energy levels.

Now Tim has more variety in his diet, and he is no more intimidated or avoids carbohydrates.

The most significant achievement through the coaching process was getting Tim of from thyroid medication. Through training, diet, and supplement change, we were able to get thyroid function better than it was on medication.

Now Tim has a better body shape, more energy, and time to spend on other areas of his life, like his family and traveling.

When Dieter joined the Metabolic Breakthrough Program he wanted to lose 3.5 stone.

But he felt worried about if that would be possible, as it’s a lot of weight to lose and he is in his 40s.

So much so that I thought he might not sign up when we talked on the phone.

How my client Nigel: 62 year old business owner hit his weight loss target, lost excess belly fat, and strengthened his injured knee and Achilles tendon (he even finished a 7-hour hike with his son!)

Nigel, over the past 3 years started to put on weight and past injuries didn't let him properly walk or exercise.

In the past, he tried personal trainers. But he felt things they made him do weren't tailored and were just one size fits all approach.

This didn't make him feel safe, and he felt like he would hurt himself.

How my client Angela lost 13kg, got stronger, and now doing things she never thought were possible.

Angela is a busy mom whose goal was to lose weight to become more confident.

She was one of those people who did only treadmill or spin bike in the gym.

Not because this was something she wanted to do, but because she didn't know any better.

She was too intimidated to try any resistance training.

What's worse, what she was doing wasn't working.
She would go to the gym frequently and invest a huge amount of time and effort in cardio, but the weight wouldn’t drop.

Nothing is more frustrating than putting work in and not seeing results.
So it started to get discouraging and thoughts like "Why even bother" started to come up.

Enough was enough and Angela decided to start coaching with me.

I was impressed by her effort in the gym.

Mom at the age of 50 who has never done any weight or resistance training got strong at a very quick rate.

I’m An Experienced Coach…

I’ve been in the business for over 10 years…

During that time, I’ve worked with all kinds of individuals…

How my client Britney lost 6kg in 8 weeks, even with the newborn she had to care for.

Britney is a scientist at Norwich Research Park, where she works 40+ hours.

Recently she went on maternity leave after her second child.

After pregnancy, she dropped a few kg, but by her words, she still felt chubby.

The problem was no matter how much effort she put in. The scale wouldn't move. She hit the plateau and wasn't sure how to get out of it and started to lose motivation.

“Why Should I Bother With Coaching?”

Getting Nowhere

“I’m gutted I didn’t reach out sooner.”

It’s easy to look back in hindsight.

Especially when you’ve gotten tremendous results like Zafar.

He came to The Metabolic Breakthrough program rolling the dice “for the last time”.

He’d spent thousands of pounds over the years on workout programs.

Online diet plans and other Personal trainers.

You name the diet or program - he tried it all!

But he wasn’t getting the results he wanted for all his hard work.

He would make some progress, have a setback, and then end up back where he started.

In a search for the next program.

But what pi**ed him off the most was seeing one of his friend’s getting the results he desired.

One of his friends was dropping weight and toning up at a fantastic rate.

And he was doing this without trying.

Whereas Zafar was trying his best, and the results were nowhere near.

Innocent comment: “I thought you’d have looked better by now”, from his friend got under his skin.
