What am i drinking?? 😋
This picture was taken 6 hours after quite a traumatic 19 hours and birth! (sadly I'm hearing this more and more with hospital births 😢)
Quite early on, in my pregnancy, I decided to have my placenta encapsulated, to help aid with my healing journey. This involves having my placenta steamed and/or dried and put into capsules.
I was recommended Nikki
Rob and I kept her updated with my progress as I went into labour and let her know when baby came at 7am. She then drove down from Norfolk and met Rob with my placenta, at our home, at 12pm 🤍
There she prepared 2x healthy placenta smoothies, 1 each day... the thought of it, to begin with freaked me out a little, but I figured, I would do anything to aid in the health of baby and I 🍓
She took the rest of the placenta with her and made it into capsules, which arrived on day 3, a tincture and homeopathic medicine for us to use over the coming years 🤍
Well what can I say, the capsules and smoothies are amazing!!! (They taste just like a Berry smoothie btw 🍓)
The only downside, was waking up on day 3 and not having my smoothie 😉
It helped me through my first 2 days, despite 4.5 hours sleep in that 48 hours, I felt energised and the bonus was my milk came in on day 2 too! (It came in on days 5 and 4 with my other boys) 🤍
I cannot recommend Cherished Placentas enough, so if you or someone you know is pregnant, give her a share or follow 🤍

We are nearly a week home and I must say I have so much energy and feel so strong considering it was only last Friday I was giving birth. I decided to keep my placenta and have a placenta smoothie for the first three days after birth! Nikki at has been amazing and went above and beyond to ensure I could have the smoothie in my days following birth. It sounds daunting, but I must say, I feel great and the smoothie certainly tastes great; this has been such a nourishing breakfast to have ready and waiting in the fridge every morning.

Can’t wait for my Cherished Placenta Balms and Oil package tomorrow!

Mummy contacted me from the very beginning, after putting a post out for a local placenta specialist 🙏

From the very beginning we hit it off ❤️ we’ve laughed, cried & talked all about the good, bad & the ugly side of her pregnancy ❤️

His mummy suffered severely with HG (hyperemesis gravidarum), which was just awful to hear someone suffering so badly, whilst caring for her 2 other babies 🙏 (If anyone is suffering, I urge you to speak to your midwife and find the right support, please don’t suffer on your own ❤️)

There were times when she didn’t know if she was coming or going 😞 Her birth plan changed more times than I’ve ever known & it was just so hard knowing that she was going through all of this & wasn’t being heard ❤️

This women, in my eyes is remarkable ❤️ She persevered & wouldn’t settle until she felt that she was being listened to, but more importantly that it felt right for her & her baby 🙏

And she did it 🙌👌❤️ She ended up having the best level of care & the most supportive team in helping her birth her beautiful baby boy 💙

And he is just so so gorgeous! .gibsonfrench19 well done sweetheart, I am so proud of you & your little family 🙏 And the biggest thank you for everything you have done for me & making me feel so special with what I do 🥰🥰🥰

Posted • .gibsonfrench19 I got my placenta encapsulated and made into smoothies by Nikki and it was the best thing I did after another hyperemersis gravidarum pregnancy. Four and a half days postnatal with Isaac and I’ve never felt this well. Having my placenta encapsulated was something I wanted from the beginning along with another water birth. After 34 weeks being sofa, bed, hospital and bath bound due to hyperemersis, chronic pain and fatigue I feel like me again. I also suffered with PND and PNA after the girls and I was worried this would happen again especially after such a traumatic pregnancy where it was touch and go when he would have to be born but I feel incredible. Now if only I enjoyed pregnancy 🤣
