What a fabulous day with our wonderful Women in Tandem community! We had a brilliant social ride in the rain, followed by our handover party in the workshop. We shared memories and said thank you to Lily and Steph; and officially welcomed Emily and Sarah.

Temi found us via our Social Prescribing Project Travel Well in Nottingham and got a free refurbished bike!

Despite her nerves, she came along to our Family Bike Ride (Trailer Trash) and towed her child in a trailer for the first time.

Inspired by Kelly and Hetty on our group ride, Temi has persevered with her family cycling journey and we could’t be prouder. Massive well done! 👏

Proud that our workshops are accessible to women with different needs - two friends, (one blind, one sighted) arrived on their tandem bike and together they learnt how to repair and puncture, oil their chains and perform a basic safety check.
We do our best to accommodate everyone and would love to hear more ideas about how we can include more women!
Steph and Lily attempted to ride a tandem in 2022 - it's not easy! Since then it's been on the wall as decoration, we think you guys are amazing!

Travel Well in Nottingham

'Why don't we do this every Cycle Training session?' was the main takeaway from our celebratory share picnic with Muslim Women's Network. We wanted to celebrate all the hard work and determination these women have given us to show up each week, persevering even when they feel nervous until they can ride a bike!
