Welcome to Kimberley Christmas Market This year's Kimberley Christmas Market will be held on Sunday 8th December 2024, open to the public from 10am till 4pm. There will be a great range of stalls from craft, food, drink and Christmas gifts. A festive day out for the whole family!

📣❄Announcement ❄📣
The time has come to hand over the reins for this much loved event to the wonderful team that is the Kimberley Town Council. We have so enjoyed organising and managing this fantastic festive event for the last three years and have given it our all. With our independent business MhaslamTech Sound & Event Production growing and wanting to focus on our family post cancer, we find ourselves increasingly busy with life and can no longer do justice to putting an event of this magnitude. We are therefore delighted that the Kimberley Town Council have offered to take it on and will continue to provide a brilliant opportunity for independent businesses as well as a great chance for you all to buy beautiful handmade gifts. We will continue in a smaller supporting role for this and other local events and look forward to seeing you all at the 2024 Kimberley Christmas Market later this year! Thank you so much for embracing our take on the market, Matt and Sarah 🥰

📣 Kicking off our Live Music Stage at 10.30, we have the wonderful The Nottingham Ballet School 🐧
Dancers from The Nottingham Ballet School Associates have been working hard in preparation for their performance at the Kimberley Christmas Market. The girls train multiple times a week in Watnall, where we hold dance and singing classes each week for children and adults. Our dancers and their families have formed a wonderful community within our school and we are excited to share their hard work with you today! We hope you enjoy our performance and it leaves you feeling uplifted and excited for the Christmas season.

Our free to enter Elf Hunt is back and our Elves are ready to play hide and seek in the windows of Kimberley's local businesses this Sunday - Can you find them all? 🎄❄️😁

To enter, collect your Elf Hunt Map from the Parish Hall, follow the trail and write down their names on your sheet. To be entered into our prize draw, write your name and contact number on the sheet and hand it in at WhiteBeam Photography by 2pm, with the option of having a photoshoot with Santa whilst you're there! (see images for details) 📸🎅

This year our first prize is a a super soft Build a Bear Workshop bear wearing a Gingerbread costume, ready to be named and a huge Cadbury's Advent Calendar 🤩🎁🥇

We are introducing prizes for 2nd and 3rd place too - a plush gingerbread decoration for each runner up! ☃🥈🥉

📣 Come and hear the wonderful Daniel Proud Music at our Penguin Stage on Sunday!
Daniel Proud is a solo acoustic musician from Leicester, he has been playing live for 7 years and he plays a variety of songs throughout the decades, from Oasis, the Killers, Bastille, The Kinks, The Beatles, and John Denver to say a few. He always guarantees to get the crowds singing along for a great set of high-quality entertainment.

📣 We are looking forward to hearing Rosemary Braddy - Singer - Mezzo Soprano's set at our Penguin Live Music Stage on Sunday!
Rosie is a Nottingham born singer who trained at the world renowned Royal College of Music in London. Rosie has continued to evolve as a classical singer, often performing as a soloist for the the region's many Choral Societies and on the recital platform. Rosie enjoys performing with the Opera company 'Opera Anywhere', taking the works of Gilbert&Sullivan and Mozart to audiences across the UK. As well as a keen recitalist, oratorio and consort singer, Rosie has a fondness for Jazz and popular song from the 20's, 30's, and 40's and performs frequently as a function singer including weddings, funerals and corporate events.
Rosie is excited to bring some jazzy festive cheer to the Christmas Markets this year.

‘Ursa Major’ are 5 singers coming together to sing harmonic arrangements of songs from all sorts of genres. From Simon and Garfunkel to Billie Eilish, we love it all. We are looking forward to sharing our Christmas set with you, bells and Santa hats at the ready! 🥳

Live from our Penguin Stage this weekend will be The Bluest Blues Experience! 🤩

The Bluest Blues Experience are a blues and boogie Power Trio, based in the Midlands, playing blues covers, originals and original covers!

Expect to hear well known covers songs that are up tempo, danceable, and lively. The band name comes from a song called “the Bluest Blues” by Alvin Lee and Ten Years After (Alvin was a local Notts boy!) and “Experience” from the Jimi Hendrix Experience. So, there will always be a little bit of Jimi Hendrix in the mix too.

Stevie G plays guitar and sings lead vocals, Ken Scott plays bass and sings backing vocals, and Richard Firman plays drums and (occasional) backing vocals.
All 3 musicians have decades of experience (pun intended!) playing in a wide variety of different bands, and musical projects.

Their first album, as the Bluest Blues Experience, is being worked on for release in 2024… 🎤🎸

We cannot wait to welcome them back to Kimberley 👏🤩

We love the Make and Bake range with Shanise. Baking is such a lovely thing to do with little ones and these jars and cookie kits are wonderful - they save all the measuring and mess and taste amazing! A fantastic activity for families to enjoy over Christmas 🥰🍪👩‍🍳
