A message from one of our community partners (Nottingham Contemporary):

If you or someone you know was planning to attend the Red Cross Tuesday Night Project at Nottingham Contemporary 5pm tonight (16 Aug) please note that the session is postponed due to sad and unforeseen circumstances. We are pausing to recognise the life of an amazing community ambassador. We hope to continue this project in some way soon. With thanks

This afternoon I went to Bristol to photogaph the amazing puppet Little Amal, she is on her walk from Syria across Europe in search of her mother for a new home, as part of National Refugee week. The puppet masters are very good at what they do, and the puppet created a lot of emotion along her walk through parts of Bristol and finally leaving on a ferry out to the River Avon. Really lovely.
