Potentially looking for one more person part time( with extras hours if wanted) to join the team 4-6 hours daily(early mornings) preferably somebody with some knowledge of the gym. 🏋️‍♀️ 🦍

Bike racks have now been fitted outside the gym 🚲 can people who cycle to the gym please start bringing a bike lock and using the racks outside asap as we can’t keep letting people bring bikes in to reception. Thanks

There’ll also be a suggestion box in the gym this week for you tell us anonymously what you want to see or what you dislike or what you think we can change for the better. Obviously it’s still early days for us in the new facility and we’re still getting through the minor teething problems but we just want to make the gym the best we can for us all 💪🏼 so all feedback/ suggestions good or bad is positive for us 🙏🏽

We are still looking for personal trainers and people who run classes so we can start getting a timetable together hoping to start in the next couple of weeks. we have a lot of members who are very interested in personal training and classes. Can everybody I have previously spoken to who was interested please message again (sorry we’ve been mowed out with the new facility) and anyone else who’s interested drop us a message 🙏🏼 thanks. 🦍🏋️‍♀️🔥

A “few” pictures from the opening day of our new facility (before the madness started😂) the feedback has been great 🔥🔥 just want to say thank you to everyone who’s called down so far and a massive welcome to all our new members 🙏🏽 but the biggest thank you of all must go to all our current members without you all this wouldn’t of been possible 🖤 🦍🏋️‍♀️🔥

‼️ IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ ‼️

Unfortunately we aren’t going to be able to open our doors until Wednesday 24th April 12pm. We can only apologise for any inconvenience caused to our members/new members.

We massively underestimated how long it was going to take to move across the contents of a whole gym from our old building to the new one (dismantling them all one by one getting them down a flight of stairs and then having to reassemble them at the new place) then moving them into position (a large number of needed to be taken upstairs) as well as building all of the new equipment etc.

We’ve been working 14/16 hour days trying to make this possible but last night we looked around at 1am and realised it wasn’t going to happen realistically for today.

Nobody is more frustrated, upset and disappointed than us, we’ve been killing ourselves trying to make it happen but we’re only human and can only try our best.

All of the equipment is in the building now, it’s just a case of moving it all into position, getting the rest of it upstairs, and finishing the final touches off, which could probably be done in just a day but due to already underestimating and changing the original opening times etc we want to make 100% sure.

So our doors will open on Wednesday at 12 noon, we hope you can understand and empathise with us!

We apologise for the setback but we’re trying our best 🙏🏼 we look forward to seeing you all Wednesday.

⚡️POWER IS BACK ON⚡️ the gym is back open!

Unfortunately there is a big power cut in ossett affecting a lot of properties the gym is in total darkness! I’ve received a message saying they are looking to restore the power by 7.45 tonight! Which is unacceptable but is out of our hands so unfortunately the gym will be closed today until the power is restored hopefully well before 7.45pm and if so I’ve put another message on informing everyone but if it’s not before 7.45pm the gym will remains closed until tomorrow again sorry for any inconvenience but it’s out of our hands.

*UPDATE*
It was 3 motorbikes(2 scooters 1 motor bike) that were stolen and I now have cctv of it all showing all 3 lads which will be posted publicly and passed on to the police unless these bikes are returned!

Unfortunately 3 bikes have been stolen from outside the gym tonight around 7pm, these bikes belong to young teenagers if you know anything about it or you’ve done it as a joke maybe thinking it’s your friends bikes and it would be funny etc then please return them before 9pm tonight or contact us if not all 3 lots off cctv from the gym and the surrounding businesses will be checked first thing in the morning and passed on to the police!

We’re on the lookout for a new member of staff to join the team for the early morning shift, 6am start (here for 5.45) plus the occasional Sunday shift of 4 hours (full hours to be discussed) finished for dinner time or before most days. if you struggle to get out of bed please don’t message enquiring let’s not waste each others time candidate needs to be very reliable, trustworthy and have great time keeping.

Duties include
•opening up the gym
•working reception
•signing up new members and dealing with memberships
•serving customers
•General maintenance and tidying/cleaning of the gym
