Come to Blenheim Palace, Woodstook and visit the Stables Cafe Gallery. You will see works for sale by our artists - currently Neil Butterfield, Nancy Chambers, Pamela Harrison, Rod Craig, Catriona Herd and Barry Kelly. We are lucky enough to have this wall space until January 2025 and will therefore be rotating the work over the next few months. A wonderful setting in a beautiful Palace and a great day out!

Feast your eyes on these absolutely gorgeous stoneware pieces by Oxford ceramicist Sally Dorrity. If you browse through her page on our website you will not be disappointed! We just love Sally’s work and will be taking her with us to our next pop up gallery in Woodstock from 27 Oct to 10 Nov

The start of the weekend and our last three days. We pack up Sunday evening so please come along and have a look at all the wonderful pieces we have here!

We are delighted to be back in our favourite little pop up right in the centre of pretty Woodstock - our home town. We are here for the week until Sunday 23rd and guess what? The sun is shining!

We have just collected some fabulous new pieces by Kate Hipkiss. Here are two of her incredible hand-cut layered paper works. The first one, entitled ‘Across Derwent Water’, measures 35cm x 47cm framed. The second piece, ‘Fading Light, Stonehenge’, measures 35cm x 55cm framed. We are simply blown away by the detail and intricacy of Kate’s work and know that you will be too. Come and see these and more of her paper cuts at our pop up this week. We open tomorrow 17th until 23rd June. See you there!

We are delighted to be taking the gorgeous little pop up gallery in Woodstock for one week from 17th - 23rd June. Located right in the centre of our beautiful home town, you really can’t miss it! Woodstock is a pretty cotswold destination with plenty of pubs, shops and restaurants - not to mention 3 other galleries! With Blenheim Palace on our doorstep it is well worth a visit. We had a fabulous Fresh Art Fair - thank you once again to Ellie and the team for their fantastic organisation! Now it’s back to Chipping Norton to pack up our little gallery, ready to vacate on 6th May. We have loved our time here and made some lifelong friends. Chippy is a wonderful town and we shall miss you! But Kingfisher Art is not going anywhere - we will be online and taking pop up galleries as we did before. So look out for us (our next one is in the Woodstock pop up gallery w/c 17th June). We are also continuing to do the Art Fairs so we are still very much in evidence!

After a brilliant Private View last night, we have the first day of Fresh Art Fair today. Our wonderful Cotswold artist Rupert Aker will be demonstrating this morning from 11.00am so please come along and watch him work. You won’t be disappointed! Here are some of his pieces on our stand 9.

The definition of the word ‘apricity’ is ‘the warmth of the sun in winter’ and that title perfectly befits this 60cm x 60cm oil on canvas by Barry Kelly. These delicious and gorgeous ‘Sweet Clementines’ are the work of Oxfordshire artist Henrietta Lawson Johnston. We absolutely love having the beautiful bronze sculptures by Sophie Louise White. This small but perfectly formed ‘Kingfisher Curve’ measures 15cm x 24cm and is just one of several pieces by Sophie that we will have on our stand number 9 at Fresh Art Fair next weekend at Cheltenham Racecourse. ‘Morning Birds’. This beautiful watercolour by Oxfordshire artist Rod Craig, measures 65cm x 50cm and is one of a selection of his paintings we will have on our stand number 9 next weekend at Fresh Art Fair, Cheltenham Racecourse. ‘Scudding Clouds and Slippery Seaweed’. What a great title for this mesmerising seascape by Cirencester artist Pamela Harrison. This oil on canvas measures 80cm x 80cm and is one of a selection of her paintings on our stand number 9 at Fresh Art Fair next weekend at Cheltenham Racecourse. It’s all about trees! We will be showing this stunning giant Birch tree by Christopher Townsend at Fresh Art Fair next weekend (swipe right for details). This tree, sculpted using mild steel, measures 100 x 180cm and looks fabulous on a white wall. Halfway up the stairs is a great spot! Why not put fairy lights on it at Christmas? These trees can also go outside and look beautiful on a garden wall. Each one is individually made so can be bespoke to fit your required space. This beautiful oil on canvas painting of the Cotswold hills is just an example of the fantastic works by Rupert Aker that we will be showing at the Fresh Art Fair next weekend. We just love this ‘Half Blue Moon’ from Kate Hipkiss. Can you believe this beautiful piece is actually made from hand-cut layered paper. Measuring 53x 53cm framed, this stunning work is on the wall in our Chipping Norton gallery along with other works by Kate. There are also more moon pieces too!

We have new work by Kate Hipkiss! Kate’s pieces are produced using hand-cut layered paper and the image here is just one example. Entitled ‘Flow to the Sea, Otter Estuary, South Devon’, it measures 39cm x 26cm

The last few days of this wonderful solo exhibition by Oxfordshire artist Rod Craig. This dramatic piece seems a timely work to show as it is entitled ‘Catch the Wind'! It measures 40cm x 30cm and is priced at £750. Exhibition ends 30th Dec.
