"We are so far detached from instinctual parenting, that those of us that use primal practices are ridiculed"
We've lost touch with our motherly instincts for this to have become what society is. :( -Jackie

Fantastic news!!
Millie's Trust won the Pride Of Britain awards 2015!! congratulations Jo & Dan!
After the tragic loss of their 9 month old daughter Millie who choked on food whilst under the supervision of a nursery. Jo & Dan have gone on to campaign relentlessly to ensure that anyone who works with children are Emergency First Aid trained.
I attended the First Aid course when my little girl was just a few weeks old & thanks to the skills they taught me, I was confident enough to use them & prevent my own baby from choking.

Breastfeeding in Combat Boots! Love this photo
This beautiful photo, taken by Tara Ruby Photography, has been removed from both her page and this one already today. I'm reposting it again to show the world that you CAN be in the military and successful at breastfeeding. I believe this is a first, to have a group photo of military moms breastfeeding in uniform (they were given permission by the PAO and Garrison Commander at Ft Bliss). These women are so strong, and should be honored and applauded for Giving the Breast for Baby and Country.
I've been quiet on this page of late as I've been really busy doing other projects, deciding which route to take with college/university, enjoying a family holiday and just got back this weekend.
Then I've been working really hard all this weekend to finish and complete my baby massage coursework & just this second handed it in to be marked!! Fingers crossed I pass first time ☺️👌🏻
So true...
Have a great week peeps x
My 18 month old does this to me but I'm not laughing
I adore this photo from Jo Frances Photography. Now this is something I can relate to. :)

It is with sincere regret & apologies...
I have decided to close the Sling Library.
We had zero attendance today & this gave me a little time for reflection on my direction with my personal career development & journey.
Due to unforeseen circumstances there will be venue/staffing issues over the summer holidays & then come September I will be starting college. It doesn't leave much space in my life for me to run a Sling Library, alongside all the other projects I have going on.
The following Sling Libraries are available:
Central Oxford
Emily/Josie - Oxford Sling Library & Oxford Sling Meet
West Oxfordshire
Lauren/Rachel - www.facebook.com/groups/1427393210812601
South Oxfordshire
Karolina/Aloma - The Green Bean Ladies https://www.facebook.com/thegreenbean1
I will still be available for babywearing consultancy hire should you require support in your own home - contact me for more info.
All other services Baby Massage, Babywearing Consultancy & Breastfeeding Peer Support will continue.
Thank you for your understanding.
Dawn x
I often wonder this very same thing... People have issues with babies drinking human/mummy's milk yet they will happily drink milk from a cows boobie
Had a fantastic first Sling Meet!
The attendance was great for our first session, 4 mums, their toddlers/babies & a nana ☺️
Superb venue that is perfect for the children to play while the mummy's played with slings. It was an informal & fun gathering for all!
There is still so much for me to learn on this babywearing journey & upon reflection...we need more cake/biscuits for the Mums & fruit for the little ones 😂
Sling Meet today at Willow Tree a Children's Centre in Bampton 1pm - 3pm
Please Share & highlight the dangers of this particular cotbed there are still 10 unaccounted for & deemed unfit for purpose.
EXCLUSIVE: Killer Cotbeds, 08/07/2015, The One Show - BBC One Dom Littlewood investigates the cotbeds that babies can get trapped in.
Had a great first one to one baby massage session with a family in their own home this morning. Was lovely to have the baby's daddy & brother involved in the learning too ☺️💜
Due to circumstances beyond my control... Unfortunately tomorrow's Sling Meet has been cancelled.
There is no one available to open the children's centre as all in meetings. The centre is going through various changes.
It will be on next week
Many sincere apologies.
Sling meet/library - our first meet will be held Thursday 2nd July 1pm til 3pm & will be weekly until September
At Bamptons Childrens Centre
Looking forward to meeting u 👍☺️
Feeling proud:
Bumped into a parent from my baby massage class this morning, to be told her baby slept for 2 & half hours after our session & she finally had a Poo! Result!
I love hearing positive feedback & so funny as mums all we talk about is poo!! Lol 😂
