This month our theme is Animals. One of our children has recently showed a big interest in cows so we created a cow for them to milk this has helped the children with their fine motor skills. They spent a long time at the activity, and have been using new words such as udder during their play.
What a lovely Friday surprise having Kerrie over from West Moors for the day! Preschool have thoroughly enjoyed a water tray exploring sea creatures with Kerrie! The children were able to identify animals names and ask if unsure. They imitated what some of the creatures do, such as a crab who snaps! The children shared resources well with one another, relating the activity to our book which is Commotion in the Ocean!
Our new kiddie bus has come to Rock A Tots!
