Sorry to say we've had lots of fond farewells today 😞

So it's goodbye to our lovely service delivery assistant Eric and equally lovely systems manager Jonathan who both retire today.
Also good luck to our wonderful PAL placement student Jen, fabulous writing tutor Dani and marvellous maths tutors Zoe and Sergio who are off to pastures new. We will miss you all! 💖🥰

Abandoned bear.

We found a visitor waiting in the courtyard when we strolled in this morning. Becky Bear looks like she comes from a loving home and we'd be delighted to see her reunited with her family.

Do you know Becky? Is she yours? We'll leave her on the bench for now, but if she's still there this afternoon we'll enrol her as an honorary member of the library and bring her indoors. 🐻

Peanut the goat is excited to meet our Library Heart ❤📚 He seems to be interested in our library which offers many outstanding services. Goat approved!🐐 Come and see us! 😍

Massive congratulations to our senior maths tutor, Zoe, for winning the BU "Connecting with Nature Art Competition" 👏🌸🎨

Her drawing, "Bee Kind to the Environment" is on display at the Atrium Gallery in Poole House, Talbot Campus, along with the other entries. Zoe commented that she was saving the bee by placing it on this beautiful flower and then decided to sketch it!

When it's hot outside and pretty warm inside, Buddy 🐱 (Neil's mate) likes playing hide-and-seek with Neil - hiding somewhere in a cool and refreshing place. But there are no flies on Neil because he knows all Buddy's favourite spots 😆

A huge BU library thumbs up to Emma and her wife Fi, who recently completed a giant 100km cycle ride round London for 'Ride the Night', which raises vital funds for Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust, Breast Cancer Now and Ovarian Cancer Action. Congrats you two!

We all wish we were Teddy 😀

Meet the gorgeous and loving cat Teddy (Katy's fluffy nephew) 😻 whose mission on this planet is to live the dream. His life is full of yummy food, care, cuddling and pigeons to hunt. Although sometimes he can be upset if there aren't any spiders to play with. That is actually the only problem of his life (poor thing) 😂 And maybe also the lack of SPA facilities for cats 😂
