Serene Beginnings Baby Spa! 🎉🫧🫧🫧🫧

I’m delighted to announce that I am going to be offering baby spa sessions in Prestatyn starting in September!

This is something that I’ve been wanting to do and planning for the past 12 months so I’m beyond excited to finally be able to run them! 🥰

These special, super relaxing sessions will be the perfect opportunity to spend some precious one-to-one time with your little one, bonding and relaxing. Baby will enjoy a warm, soothing bath followed by a relaxing massage.
Of course, there will be lots of gorgeous photo opportunities and there will be a small gift for mum.

A sanctuary of blissful relaxation for you and baby. 🥰

Baby spa sessions are suitable for babies from 8 weeks up to around 5 months.

There’s no need to worry about your baby crying or being unsettled during the session - it’s a totally relaxed environment and very much baby-led, so feel free to feed, change or cuddle your baby whenever you need to!

Session spaces will be limited to just two mums and babies to ensure a relaxed and intimate environment and a totally bespoke and unique experience.

I’ll be launching session dates and opening booking very soon but if you’d like to be one of the first to know the details so you can grab one of the very limited spaces, send me a message with the words “BABY SPA” and I’ll add you to the waiting list!

After receiving some lovely feedback recently about my classes, it’s reminded me exactly why I started Serene Beginnings and why I do what I do.

Becoming a mum is such a huge life event (whether it’s your first or your fifth baby!), and it can be incredibly rewarding but it can also be so challenging and exhausting! We all deal with the challenges in different ways, but ultimately, we’re all going through it.

I want you to know that my classes are a safe space for you to be YOU and to be a new mum, whatever that looks like for you. 🫶

I want you to know that you don’t ever have to come to my class pretending to be ok if you’re not. You don’t ever need to paint a smile on if you’re feeling sleep deprived and fed-up. You don’t ever need to feel worried that you’re not up to making conversation or that your baby might cry. This is real motherhood and we’re all doing it together.

There are good days and there are tough days. If you’re having a good day, then I love that for you and I’m cheering you on, but if you’re having a tough day, I’m here to greet you with a cuppa, listen to you and to hopefully make your day that little bit easier. 🫶

I’m here to support and nurture you as a new mum, to help build your confidence and to reassure you that you’re doing an amazing job, mama. ❤️

💗BEGINNERS’ BABY MASSAGE IN PRESTATYN!💗

Our next Little Dreamers: Beginners’ Baby Massage course starts on Wednesday 4th September in Prestatyn! 🥰

Baby massage really helps you to give your baby the best start in life as it encourages bonding between you both, supports your little one’s physical and emotional development and offers relief from common symptoms such as colic, wind, constipation and even teething pain.

It also promotes relaxation for both you and your baby through the production of the hormone oxytocin, which helps to lower levels of stressor hormones, lower blood pressure and helps you to feel calmer. It can even help improve baby’s sleep patterns! 🙌

As a new mum, it’s so important to connect with other (equally sleep deprived!) parents who get it.

That’s why my classes always include time for a hot cuppa and a chat, so that you can share experiences and tips and form new friendships!

This fun, baby-led class is suitable for little ones from around 7 months up to 12 months or pre-walking and is perfect for babies who need a little more stimulation and entertainment! As well as practising Baby Yoga (and optional gentle stretching and movement for the mums too!), classes include free play, fun with the parachute, bubbles, singing and more! 😊

Attending one of my baby classes is about so much more than just massaging your baby or learning baby yoga (although we do plenty of that too!).

Being a new parent can be tough and overwhelming (the sleep deprivation, the worry, adapting to being responsible for a newborn 24 hours a day…) but joining a baby group helps create routine, gives structure to your day and creates special time for you and your baby to sing, play and learn about each other.

Connecting with your baby each week using positive touch, eye contact, talking and singing is so important for bonding and for nurturing your baby. My classes are a great way to support your baby’s physical, emotional and social development, and help to create a secure attachment between the two of you. 🥰
The oxytocin produced by both you and your baby when you spend time connecting and practising massage promotes relaxation, helping to lower levels of stressor hormones in the body (for parent and baby).

It’s also important for you as a new mum to have that opportunity to connect with other parents.

When your baby is born, a new version of you as a mummy is born too, so being part of a “village” of other suppportive and nurturing mums makes such a difference. 🙌🏼

Having that support network of mums to chat to, to connect with, and to remind each other what an amazing job we’re doing even when we don’t feel it, is EVERYTHING.

This is exactly the safe, caring, supportive, non-judgemental, nurturing environment I aim to create in my classes. 🥰

This is the perfect way to celebrate your baby’s very first Easter!

In this 75 minute Easter themed session, you’ll learn some soothing baby massage strokes and some fun yoga inspired movements and stretches, plus there will be the opportunity to make an Easter craft keepsake and to take some photos against a Easter themed backdrop. 🌸MOTHER’S DAY SPECIAL!🌸

I’m so excited to announce that booking for this gorgeous Mummy & Me Celebration for Mother’s Day is now OPEN!

This special themed session is an opportunity for you to connect with other local mums over a cuppa and some cake and to celebrate Mother’s Day with your little one!

Open to everyone with little ones aged from birth up to 18 months!

There will be plenty of hot drinks, treats and other refreshments available and little play areas to keep your little one amused!
