This time next week it will be time for Preston Pub Festival. We are looking forward to working alongside great friends and other independent venues in the city!

Some super fabulous events and offerings planned at each of the venues. At Plau we’re really excited to be launching our new cocktail & food menus along with a full bar of down in Preston’s permanent home to ‘Fog’.

George and the team have worked super hard to develop our new menus and here’s a sneek peak from our recent shoot with the talented . All cocktails has been inspired by the people and history of plau, please ask the staff how they came up with the ideas and the influences behind them.

Natural wine… would you like to know more?

We get asked lots of questions about our natural wine selection, so we have decided to do a wine spotlight to highlight some of the great and less well known wines we stock..

First up is Pétillant Naturel a Pet Nat wine by

Deliciously ripe, fruity and fresh pet-nat made of 80% Sauvignon Blanc and 20% Sémillon. A bottle to crack open on those those sunny afternoons, filled with zesty citrus, green apples and ripe pears. There is a slight sweetness which is balanced out with a zippy acidity and lots of pretty little bubbles. The grapes are direct-pressed and partially ferment in stainless steel before completing fermentation in bottle. Incredibly easy to get along with.
