Pluto is returning to Aquarius in 2024, to stay until 2043. These particular denominations of generations are approximate, up for debate according to decades but here we focus on the Pluto aspect.
Pluto is all about death, birth and transformation. BOOM. Small and mighty. The planet of ultimate survival, pointing to what needs destroying and creating, and alchemising that which does not serve anymore.
January 2024 will shake things up and bring a new mental, creative aspect to transformation. Depending on where your Pluto is in your natal chart, will influence the domain that requires most of your attention.
Either way, we will feel it, which will be gentler to embrace than resist.

I'm a lateish baby boomer. Definitely a generation that enjoyed an abundant economy, and which had to learn to serve community - lots of self-focus, environment be damned, etc. Not all of course, there were many pioneers in that generation who valued service, the planet, community, etc..

Healthy relationships require emotional availability, emotional communication and emotional mastery. However you turn it, the minute we minimize, discount, avoid, suppress and/or mask what we feel, relationships get damaged. With ourselves and others.
Emotional mastery (or at least the aim for this ideal) requires psycho-education. Emotional availability requires healing from running away, disconnecting, submitting without ever showing our true needs and wants, masking what we truly think and feel for the sake of avoiding the very same pain the attempt of avoiding it creates to begin with.
And healing happens faster and easier in partnership and with good, open, honest communication.
Trauma work towards integrating those disowned, abused or neglected parts of us is one of the most important work each of us will have ever done in our lives!
Not only it changes and transforms us, it shapes our children, influences our partners, our families, our community and ultimately ripples out into the world changing the course of civilization.
We truly are creating the health we want to see in the world by healing ourselves!

I sometimes hear "I should know better" - or I should've known better - from clients, friends and oh yeah, I said it myself in more than one occasion!
Said with a self-dissappointment tone, when we are in a situation that calls for skills we worked hard to acquire yet for some reason we couldn't apply in a called situation, and somehow we end up acting from our old pattern, after years of inner work.
The inner critic holding us in high demand of perfection, hanging on the promise that "inner work" will make everything better. Hey, it will make it PERFECT!!
As if trauma never existed, as if years of practice of maladaptive behaviours that had their purpose at the time, never existed, like our brain doesn't glitch here and there and sinks us in deep crevices of who we used to be.
The whole secret is to observe. Observe and offer some kindness and gentleness for the moments you do something less than ideal.
It does not obliterate the years of work you've done on yourself, the knowledge, the new healthier routines and boundaries you practice, the new mindset, is all there. Just for a tiny moment not available at hand, because they were on a higher shelf.
Take a deep breath, observe who's voice is in your head and if it's yours, who taught you, imposed, demanded, conditioned you that way? What is this wave showing you? What are your needs right now?
Ask yourself what do I need most now? And give yourself that!
Ok, ok, exclude memes with the house in the woods and a full pantry or chocolate and a million $ - unless you can do that, then do it! If not, keep it real and always start with basics: am I tired, am I hungry, am I thirsty, do I need a hug a tree, a friend? Do I need to be heard or do I need to be with myself in quiet for a while?
Remember that you are a complex, beautiful human being who is not a robot and you are perfectly ok to have good and not so good days. And sometimes really sh*tty days! The magic is in navigating these waves as they come and stay kind to yourself in the process.
And keep doing the inner work. It does act like a buoy in the challenging days, and no, you're not going round in circles, you're in an upward spiral! Feels familiar in the turning point but you're not exactly in the same spot you once were.
Keep going! Keep being kind and speak gently to yourself 💕
What influences the outcome of therapy?
I have recently learned that most surprisingly, the therapeutic relation accounts for 30% of patient improvement (Lambert & Barley, 2002), and the therapeutic alliance explains between 25 and 30% of the variance of therapeutic outcomes (Horvath, Del Re, Flückiger, & Symonds, 2011).
Scott D. Miller Phd says in his presentation about "What works in Therapy" that the breakdown of the outcome looks more like:
*15% - expectations of change
*15% - therapy model
*30-40% - client therapist relationship which will influence the next percentage of.....
*30-40% - clients applying what they learn as their new "normal" in order to avoid dependency on the therapist
The way I see it more importantly to begin with, choose your therapist wisely!

"The following is an example of when “conforming” compromised civilization: Atherosclerosis is a life-threatening disease of the arteries characterized by the deposit of plaques on the vessel’s inner walls. Arterial plaques always had large quantities of fatty cholesterol in the cells, consequently, there was a correlation between blood cholesterol and the risk of heart attacks.
The observations then led to the question, “What is the healthy level of cholesterol in the blood?” Doctors measured blood cholesterol in thousands of patients and derived an “average” concentration. Below this cholesterol level, people were safe, while those with higher blood cholesterol were prone to heart attacks. Conclusion: Those with elevated cholesterol concentrations should be prescribed statin drugs to reduce their cholesterol. Today approximately 200 million statin users spend nearly 25 billion dollars a year on their cholesterol-limiting prescriptions.
How’s that working out? Assessments reveal that only 3 patients out of a hundred (3%) of statin users benefit with a lower risk of heart attack, stroke, and death. Interestingly, 17 statin users out of a hundred (17%) end up with dysfunctional side-effects from the drug. It turns out that statins benefit only those that are at high-risk for heart disease. As a consequence, 97% of statin sales are not only useless, but their side-effects may also be dangerous.
Over the years, the so-called “safe” level of blood cholesterol has periodically been reduced. Every time this happens, a whole new population of statin-requiring patients is created. Lowering the acceptable level of cholesterol between 1987 and 2016 led to an estimated 600% increase statin sales. In the face of an escalating healthcare crisis, statins have not served the people, but have significantly enriched the profits of pharmaceutical companies.
While I was a research scientist in the lab of Theodore Hollis at the University of Pennsylvania, Ted’s study clearly revealed that atherosclerosis was not caused by cholesterol. We infused the circulatory system of rats with so much cholesterol, their blood was milky white. In the control group, these cholesterol-stressed rats became atherosclerotic as might be expected. However, in the experimental group, rats that were also given antihistamines along with the cholesterol never expressed atherosclerosis.
It’s not cholesterol that causes the plaque problem, it is elevated levels of histamine that produced the plaques. Histamine is derived from erratic blood pressure, which in turn, is a direct consequence of stress. Rather than using statins, atherosclerosis would be best treated by primarily controlling stress, and secondarily, can be prevented by using over-the-counter antihistamines. Profoundly cheaper than statins, antihistamines are more effective, and generally free of side-effects.
The whole problem with identifying an average level of blood cholesterol is that people are not clones. Each human has their own metabolic activity, therefore there is no “standard” cholesterol concentration that fits all. Many individuals have quite wonderful healthy lives and yet possess higher than average cholesterol levels. For them, statins might actually precipitate a negative impact on their health.
While we are encouraged to conform to community standards, sometimes that behavior might truly be detrimental or even socially divisive. Consider the consequences of the Covid pandemic. Authorities encouraged a breakdown of social order when pitting the conforming behavior of vaxxers against the non-conforming anti-vaxxers, a process that broke down long standing family and community relationships.
To CONform or not to CONform … the answer is based upon being INformed! Knowledge is POWER.

Some nerdy, very useful facts about Vit C, D3 and K2.
Most mammals generate vitamin C from d-glucose through gulonic acid in their liver.
Humans, other primates, and the guinea pigs cannot do so because they lack the enzyme l-gulonolactone oxidase. Thus, they must obtain this micronutrient from external sources via intestinal absorption.
Vitamin C is important in many metabolic processes. Vitamin C is required for the biosynthesis of collagen, L-carnitine, and certain neurotransmitters:
- Vitamin C is needed to convert tryptophan, amino acid present in the animal proteins in the diet, into serotonin, major neurotransmitter of the brain
- Vitamin C helps to reduce stress and anxiety by controlling blood cortisol levels
- Vitamin C acts as a cofactor for the enzyme dopamine β-hydroxylase, which converts dopamine to norepinephrine. When norepinephrine levels are low, it can lead to feeling depressed or anxious.
In Other words, Vitamin C keeps us healthy!
Vitamin C improves iron absorption, boosts immunity, and reduces heart disease and dementia risk. It also kills viruses and thus is our best defence in ANY cold and flu. Sadly because it is an inexpensive substance to produce, it never receives the credit it deserves and together with Vitamin D they are THE best defence against viruses and for maintaining a healthy respiratory tract, digestive tract, brain and cellular health.
Vitamin C is water soluble (it dissolves in water) D is a fat soluble vitamin (it goes well with oil!).
Vitamin D helps regulate the amount of calcium and phosphate in the body. These nutrients are needed to keep bones, teeth and muscles healthy. Also, laboratory studies show that vitamin D can reduce cancer cell growth, help control infections and reduce inflammation.
Look into taking daily supplements of Vitamin C and D.
Liposomal Vitamin C is the most bioavailable and gentle on the stomach, but the simple form of Ascorbic Acid is the best for fast results.
As for vitamin D, look for D3 and pair it with Vitamin K2, another important vitamin we need, often overlooked in its importance to clot blood and build bone.
Vitamin D3 should always be taken in combination with vitamin K2 as these two vitamins work synergistically (they have enhanced results when taken together) and ensure that calcium obtained from food is deposited in the bones and not in the arteries, their pairing playing then a major role in cardiovascular health.
I do not endorse any particular brands even though I have favourites for my own use, but when you look for what to take, PLEASE READ CAREFULLY ALL INGREDIENTS of the products like fillers, binders, bulking agents and anti-caking agents and look out for any GMO like soy.
The food we eat matters, but is NOT enough to supplement and build up the doses we need for optimal health. Juicing helps and living in Blue Zones (hi hi hi) and get optimal amount of sunshine, but that is not available to all of us, definitely not the case in the UK or other Nordic countries.
That's why I recommend that if you care about your physical, mental and emotional health and healing, take these supplements daily as a must if you seek optimal health.
Today is 1st of March. Spring is finally here after gently announcing itself for a little while.
Romanians, Moldavians and Aromanians celebrate "marțișor" which translates as "little March". It symbolises the hot and cold blended, snow and sun, the spring which is a new beginning and transition from winter into summer.
People wish each other "Happy Mărțișor", and blessings of love, health, prosperity and joy.
Marțișor is also a little keepsake, a brooch or flowers with the red and white thread around. Women get gifted flowers and tiny cute, good luck and spring symbolic things.
For me this date has always been like a Divine button being pushed to open my heart up to the world, spreading my wings to embrace a new experience full of bird song, flowers and love!

Stop buying into the BS that forgiveness is the holy grail of healing! If it comes naturally and with natural grace, cherish and fully immerse yourself in it! But it if doesn't, know you are absolutely, perfectly OK
You see everywhere articles on why forgiveness is a vital part of healing. How it is the ultimate spiritual thing to do to "let go" and "move on".
And this is my stance on this subject: IT'S NOT!
Forgiveness is not necessary to heal.
It is not the holy grail of enlightenment either.
If it comes in its own sweet time, then it is like grace, it feels like freedom and it soothes painful memories but it cannot be rushed, forced nor pushed upon as a mandatory step to anything.
Especially not healing from complex trauma and/or past violations which were done to you.
Many people experience forgiveness, but in my opinion and experience it cannot be an exercise.
Like you can't force someone love with you! Like no one can force you to genuinely love anyone back!
For those who aren't ready to forgive, trying to forgive is a huge trigger and set back. Gratitude is an exercise, you can practice gratitude, but one cannot practice forgiveness, because if you're not ready and you just can't do it, is equally toxic as holding onto hate and bearing a grudge.
Premature forgiveness shames the victim and arrests healing.
It is a wildly misunderstood word and state of being. People often mistake forgiveness with acceptance, understanding, compassion, self love.
Just like one cannot force grace, one cannot force forgiveness. It is NOT an indicator for healing and also it is NOT an indicator for being a kind human being. Because it can either come or not. Thus, forgiveness, whilst delightful and aspirational, is ultimately not that important on your healing path.
I wish the spiritual community would not wave this as a "must have" for those who are on their way to healing from complex trauma, because it carries a lot of shame and inadequacy for those who don't feel it. It makes it like a prescriptive recipe to healing, or enlightenment, and is not.
Forgiveness is however a beautiful state of grace, which sometimes it webs and flows, it can be felt as a transient state and sometimes it unexpectedly transforms and transmutes pain for the one who is ready.
And you have to be ready!

Love - wishing someone well
Light - information
You wish someone a good outcome, good wishes, and may they have the information, wisdom and/or divine inspiration (which may be one and the same) to achieve that.
Is THAT simple.
Light is an energy wave. It's fast, carries information and can travel in any medium. Only a part of this energy is visible to our eyes. We cannot see gamma rays, X-rays, ultraviolet, infrared, microwaves or radio waves. In this context of "Love and light" we wish the other the wisdom, the visibility to uncover solutions to a problem or to be inspired to create something to the best possible way.
Light carries information. 2016, Tristan Tentrup and pals at the University of Twente in the Netherlands demonstrated high-dimensional encoding of single photons reaching 10.5 bit per photon - opening up new possibilities for quantum cryptography. Imagine what can be encoded in a light signal! Hmm....
Imagine what information we receive from the stars in our Milky Way. Stars are celestial bodies capable of producing their own light. WE can produce OUR OWN light! We literally glimmer, but the intensity is 1000 time lower than what we can see with our eyes. Given enough energy, heat can produce light. When we rub our palms together we create heat, we create energy. SO many healing modalities just use energy waves (embedded with information!).
Photons interact with our bio-matter (all our body) via electromagnetic forces because we are electromagnetic beings.
Imagine then something so simple like wishing someone LOVE AND LIGHT how powerful of a blessing is, in a total effect of well... a good outcome! A good circumstance.
May you be all about love and light! Be kind and using your wisdom well.
We're more familiar from life experiences, books, songs and movies with the idea that we're sometimes unlucky in love, that good men and women are hard to find, that everyone good is already taken.
What we don't hear often is: "S/he is awesome and that makes me run away!" "S/He's everything I ever wanted and that's boring". "I'm not good enough for her/him". "I feel overwhelmed with how much s/he loves me".
Yet people feel this more than they speak about it, because there is a shame attached with complaining about a good home, a good life, a great new partner. If they do, they might get scorned at as if they're fed up with "having it good and they're looking for trouble".
To situations like these, people reply often with "you don't know how lucky you are". "other people would die for what you have", "you should be grateful you have such a sweet partner/nice home/nice children". Which drives the shame and feeling of inadequacy even deeper, and people feel anxious for years, that something is wrong with them, or they can't enjoy life, or if only they would be grateful with what they have, all would be ok.
There are many possible scenarios that could get us to fear positive emotions, or distrust good things that happen to us.
When we have experienced childhood trauma, or inconsistent parental behaviour, one day you get slapped one day you get hugged and you also hear stuff like "... but I love you" when you swallow your tears after a punishment, when promises get broken, when the person you trust most turns into an abuser or suddenly you lose a parent you love deeply, love gets murky, there's a confused and panicky feeling that love is dangerous, and it won't last. It feels that's a trap somewhere in kindness and charm and it keeps you on an anxious edge of hypervigilance.
This feeling that a smile, a warm embrace, a true love declaration feels too much or unsafe and gives you a ping in your guts you can't quite put your finger on or have no words to explain, may also come from the fact you have experienced more of negative emotions throughout your life and you don't feel familiar with experiences of warm, positive regard and authentic love and kindness.
Either way, it's beneficial then, to re-parent yourself, re-wire your brain to ease into more positive emotions and also to feel SAFE with positive emotions.
It takes time, but with the right support, with awareness and practice, you may tap into real joy and appreciation of a secure relationship.
Something small and accessible you can do right away if you feel uncomfortable from even reading this post, so you won't remain with any distressing feeling is to run your hands and wrists under cold water, count to 10 and hum a song.
