Primary Tap Exam: A massive well-done to these x3 students who took their very first Tap exam today. They were smiling throughout, well-done Shannon for your wonderful teaching and for getting the girls exam ready 👌💜xx

Proud is an understatement, our G6 Tap girls took their exam this morning. It takes a lot of dedication, perseverance, hard work and many hours of practice to get to this level. I couldn’t be more delighted for our girls. You make me want to never get complacent, strive to be the best teacher that I can be and challenge me to push on. Intermediate Tap here we come. Calling all children who live in Tilehurst or surrounding areas, Park Run now have a Park Run for Children on Sundays at Prospect. If your child loves to run, walk or just enjoys the open space and freedom, give this a go 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️😍😍😍

**My Absolute Hero** - So it takes us 10 months to start work on our show costumes. Many of our costumes are hand made and I couldn’t do it without this amazing lady. Elaine volunteers every year to help me and we start making the costumes after Easter! Thank you Elaine for all you do for us at Dance Sensation💜xx

**DANCE UNIFORM**

Please note the correct uniform in the pictures for Dance Sensation below. Many children are still wearing the old uniform which discontinued in 2020! I think a lot of parents are passing on old uniform and do-not realise. It really noticed in the show at the end in the finale and I really would like everyone in the correct uniform, especially for exams. I’ll put this post in the 2nd hand uniform site too. Our uniform can be brought at Dancia, Caversham. Ballet shoes are also brought from the dance shop.

I have many colouring books to be claimed. Please comment if you recognise any of these belonging to your child? I also have x1 black cardigan, black leggings age 6-7 and a pair of black jogging bottoms Age 9 from Sainsbury’s. Items of clothing are unnamed. Please contact Miss Marie so we can get them back to the children. Many thanks 💜

Some of the best moments are captured backstage when students are relaxed and just hanging out with friends. What a weekend we all had, 💜💜💜

Dear Parents

I am being inundated with emails regarding the show and in every email, your questions are in the show letter.

As from tomorrow I will be unable to respond to emails. I’ll be at the theatre busy preparing and getting in all the thousands of costumes we have for our show weekend. I have emailed every parent throughout the last 5 months and to be quite honest, if your emailing me now, then Im afraid you have left things too late!

We can’t wait to see you at the weekend and look forward to what is going to be an absolutely incredible show.
