We understand the wider life skills that can be learnt through dance.

A child’s growth and development is broken down into four areas: Physical, Cognitive, Language and Social-Emotional Development. At Amico Dance Academy our classes allow our students the opportunity to grow in each of these areas. We are passionate about what we do and love the confidence that we are able to install in our dancers.

It’s the end of term and it’s been a busy one…
We finish tomorrow with our exam session and then we break for the summer…💙

It is a happy and a sad ending to our summer term, as this year we are saying goodbye to two of our PJ’s as they move away from Reading. Having been with us through our Mini’s class into PJ’s we have watched your dancing improve as you have grown in confidence. Tomorrow will be the last time you all dance together, so let’s enjoy it.

Taking time to listen to corrections is a skill, putting them into practice is a challenge… ⭐️
All our students have displayed amazing drive this week in such warm / hot conditions.

We aim to promote the enjoyment of dance with positive encouragement and constructive support which makes our classes an enjoyable experience.

From the studio to the exam room is a big step…

When we feel a pupil has reached the required standard to be entered into an examination, it is then their choice as to whether they take part… We help all our students approach these exams with confidence, making it a rewarding experience which validates their progress and hard work.
