Is cardio necessary for fat loss?
The short answer is NO.
Cardio is a great tool for many reasons but NOT a must!
here is why:
Fat loss occurs when you consume less calories than you burn. calorie deficit)
There are 3 ways you can create a deficit of calories:
1️⃣ Eat fewer calories than you burn
2️⃣ Burn more calories than you eat by increasing your physical activity.
3️⃣ Combination of 1 + 2. Eat fewer calories AND increase physical activity.
#3 is the MOST effective way to lose fat and keep it off.
Why? It is much easier to create a calorie deficit with a combination of good nutrition + workouts, because you don't have to deprive yourself or do insane amounts of boring cardio.
This is the method we utilize during the 8 Kickstarter.
Calorie control + Fun and challenging exercise = RESULTS
So to answer the question :
NO, cardio isn’t necessary, you can still achieve fat loss without it, if you manage your nutrition.
The key to successful fat loss is CONSISTENCY.
Over time your calorie deficit will "add up", and you WILL lose the extra weight.

Story time:
Back on the 24th of September I was casually struggling to breath, wheezy and genuinely very unwell.
My WhatsApp goes PING and there’s a message that started,
“How do big boy, right I am f’ed off”
It was a weight issue, health issue and happiness issue all rolled into one.
So I called and we had a chat, 3 hours later we were at the gym weighing in and working out a plan for when I was more upright and able.
This is Gavin, Gavin put in 8 weeks of hard graft. Coming in for a few 06:00 sessions with the dedicated few and watching what he ate.
(He still had some beers and more than a few takeaways)
He managed to remove over 13 centimetres from his middle, increase his overall health, elevated his fitness and made some vast increases in strength.

Now R has been working incredibly hard and with great consistency
Tracking his dietary intake, ensuring he gets a minimum of 2 litres of water a day and being a little more active.
R has achieved an incredible loss of 13.5 inches (all over) and 20+ kilograms of fat loss whilst increasing muscle mass, strength, endurance, flexibility and agility.
